Currently on House of Cards, am thinking about starting Peaky Blinders. Has anyone checked this show out yet, or have recommendations for any others?

Peaky Blinders is good and well worth watching.
House of Cards goes to shit after season 1. I wouldn't waste your time with that unless you're really into it.
Stranger Things is incredible.
I thought Peaky Blinders had promise, but I ditched it for a specific reason. For me, part of the fun of a period drama is being able to mentally escape into a different era for an hour. It's easy to think of yourself living in such an era, thinking about life being different, thinking about how the food, the culture, the built environment, ways of speaking, etc., are all so different from what we live today.
Peakly Blinders ruined that completely by playing contemporary rock music during scene transitions.
The characters seemed good, the plot was interesting, and I think it's probably a good show. But for me, as somebody who likes period dramas for the above reason, the music choices made by the producers completely ruined it.
Peaky Blinders is incredible. The entire atmosphere of the show is cool, the characters seem real and it has a nice long story arc. Def worth the investment.

I really enjoyed the mix of modern music into a period show, after all, there is no music more fit to depict the attitudes of our super cool mobster family than contemporary rock. To each his own.
Daredevil
Bojack Horseman is really good, and really funny. The jokes are clever. It seems like a stupid premise but if you've ever had depression, you can relate to Bojack. I binge watched this weekend. The end of season 3 was gold.
Arrested Development. Breaking Bad. The Office U.S. & U.K.

+1. Also all Archer episodes are on there.
Sense8 is a top 3 show ever right up their with Game Of Thrones and Banshee just awesome :)
Lady Dynamite
Orange is the new black
House of Cards - entertaining but some cold-hearted crap happens on that show. Worth watching if you have any interest in things political.
Orange is the New Black - entertaining and think most would find it watchable.
Bloodlines - entertaining in the same light that House of Cards is, some dark storylines. Liked this show a lot.
Narcos - great show. Very little that I didn't enjoy about it.
Marco Polo - In my top 3 shows on Netflix, no doubt. Great scenery, good story line, some great fight scenes.
Jessica Jones - Good show if you like the superhero genre.
Daredevil - Well done show. Good fight scenes, good characters.
Hemlock Grove - Started off good, ended fairly lame
Master of None - Good comedy. Nothing special.
Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt - Good comedy. Nothing special.
Sense8 - good show, would be great if they didn't have any gay scenes, or at the very least made the gay scenes less gay.
Between - lame but got me interested enough to finish out
Shows that finished out on Netflx:
The Killing - Enjoyed this one. Good story lines and actors.
Longmire - A bit cheesy with a new murder/investigation nearly every show for a tiny town but great acting and enjoyable.
Arrested Development - Enjoyed this, but I like the kind of goofy comedy this show has.
Trailer Park Boys - Watched all the old ones years ago and watched 1 - 2 movies on Netflix so far. This is really immature humor that I seem to have outgrown. Might watch this new series.
Kids shows:
Puffin Rock is enjoyed by our kids.
Shameless is now on Netflix. Awesome. Crazy Train wreck of a show
Californication is an entertaining show
Scandal

I agree that season 1 is real good and that it drops off from there.
I still think season 2 is pretty good and you get a sense of conclusion from it.
You can stop watching after that if you have better shows to watch.
I have a few episodes left of season 4 but I just don't want to watch it anymore.
I really like Love - it was perfectly cast and the story weirdly got under my skin.I never really had that lost in my late 20s moment since I was married by then, but this show captured it well.
I think it is a more serious story than as it is advertised.
on the silly side, Kimmy is worth watching
These have already been mentioned but are my favorites.
Orange is the New Black
Peaky Blinders
Marco Polo
Daredevil
Dexter
Shameless
