Take it back to the lab Centro. Loses to Murphy in the ATL 1000m by 0.08 seconds. 2:20.20 for Centro, 2:20.12

What will getting out kicked down the home stretch do to his mentality...
Is he DONE?
I had Murphy's final 200 in 25.04!! Sick. 53.38 final lap.
In the preview poll earlier, when I picked Murphy to win over Centro, less than 25% of people had done the same. I don't know why people thought Centro was the favorite. Murphy's the real deal and he keeps proving it.

Murphy ran a 45.4 relay leg earlier this season. I suspect he's a bit faster than most people, including Centro, would think in the 400. In the next few years Murphy will surpass all of Centro's best performances from 800 through 2k.
Stupid for Centrowitz to sit back in a slow race like that. Or extremely arrogant.
All of little Matt's rehearsals this week (rehearsing his finish line victory dance) were a waste of time. Hah.
Lets be real, Bosse and Rudisha ran 2:13. This is a yawn fest.

So in 2019ish Murphy will run a 3:29 1500?

Probably 3:28. Centro will be lucky if he ever cracks 3:30 the way he races against big fields in fast races. No matter what Centro says publicly, this loss to the new kid is going to eat at him all the way to Rio.

No, they ran 1:13 in the 600. But they probably could hit 2:13 in the 1k. Murphy will eventually be able to do it. Centro? Nah. He'd better move to the 5.
2:20???? That is slower than WR mile pace. Wow.

Does that mean Centro closed in sub 25, because he made up a small amount of ground on Murphy from when hevwas boxed on the last turn. So unlike Centro to position himself so badly.

In a 2:20 race? Sick? Not really.
If anything it'll motivate him to get his speed up. It was clear the 800 Olympic Trials champ with 1500 strength was going to take it. Murphy is clearly a beast but this means nothing to Centro he has more to worry about (Kenyans & the rest of the competitors) Murphy will be the real deal when he actually wins a medal in the big stage which currently looks tough because of current stars, Rudisha, Rotich, McBride, Bosse, Amos, etc... I see him running in the Olympic final but coming short. McBride looks real strong atm not to mention he broke 1:44..

Definitely stupid. Played to his weakness not his strength. Horrible strategy.

Yep. Not really.

According to Centro's snapchat story, he was listening to "Gonna Give It To Ya" by DMX before the meet. Well I guess that didn't work out...
