They're saying 6:11 at 2km
No because there are no hurdles the first lap, and the last 1k was the same as the 2nd.
3:01 ~ 3:10 ~ 3:10
I have never seen hurdles in a steeple race.

No, because just the number of golds is not the entire story. The context of the medals is also relevant. How they won, who they won against, etc. Otherwise, Rupp is better than all of these guys because he has won like 8 gold 10000m medals at the US championships.
You see the same thing in basketball. Some guys that you have barely heard of have more championship rings than Lebron, Barkeley, etc.

He said usually not always. He is correct. What is the problem?

It's not his problem is it. It's up to others to step up to the mark. Also the depth now in the 5/10 is the greatest it has ever been if you take the top 50 times for each event within recent years. Lastly we have come out of the EPO era.

Lagats pr isn't even as fast as you are saying he ran when he closed in 51.9.....
Yeah I think Pole Vaulter is mixing up races. The 12:59 with a 52 at the end did happen I believe, but Lagat's 12:53 can with a 53 last lap...as he trailed Farah who also ran a 53. Pole Vaulter just doesn't want to admit this was an impressive solo performance.
Correct, I'm agreeing he closed in 51.9, just in a 12:59 race that hit the bell at 12:07 with Bekele pushing him to the line. This race hit the bell at 12:53ish and he closed in 56.9. I'd agree the lagat 12:59 is more impressive obviously, but polevaulter is turning an amazing lagat race into what would have been a world record type effort if he closed 51.9 off a race 8 seconds faster.
And he can't even be confusing races since lagat has never run 12:51. :) Everything is just wrong including bekele's last 400 as he faded to a 52.

Why is that quite a stretch?
Times:
7:29
12:47
26:39
Championships:
From 2002-2008, Sihine won gold or silver. When he won silver, it was usually because Bekele was in the race. Farah would at best be winning silver if Bekele was in these current races. Also, Sihine was competing against much stronger competition than Farah facex - Bekele, Wanjiru, Kipchoge, Tadesse, Haile, etc. The 10000m especially is weaker.
Sihine didn't win any major championship golds. He was amazing but we are only talking about who is a better championship racer. Actually, we are talking about who is the greatest championship racer of all time, and someone who won zero golds is not in that conversation. Sure, he could be comparable to Mo in terms of his quality as a runner, and I understand why he was brought into the conversation, but I'm not going to say a guy who never won gold is is better as a championship racer than a guy with a whole chest full of gold medals.
To respond to the other guy, though, the person who won the most golds is definitely not automatically the greatest championship racer. As was said, context matters. Mo would have gotten smoked by El G. Viren won the double double 5k/10k, too, but I don't think he was better than Bekele. He's up there but he isn't better. Mo is also up there, but he isn't definitely better than a guy who won tons of golds against better competition and also ran much faster times (i.e., Bekele or Geb).

Because before he said that, the FloTrack guy asked him if he thought he could go for a PR (13:05)
This race was fast enough for him to PR and he chose to no go with the pace
Granite it was hot, but still, it seemed like he was going to complain about the pace going to slow, but the pace was honest and fair thoughout the race
If this was a Mo show, it would have been 8:00-8:05 through 3k w/ a really fast finish, not an even paced 7:52 3k split

Why not? Gold against weak compeition is not better than silver against the world record holder and GOAT Bekele. You are contradicting yourself. You say context matters, then ignore all of the context. Sihine doesn't just have "no golds" - he has a bunch of silvers only losing to one guy.
Farah has almost zero competition (relatively and absolutely). Absolutely, there is no one as fast as what Sihine faced. Relatively, there is no one else on Farah's level. He has almost no competition.
If Bekele was on the scene today, then Farah would have a bunch of silvers instead of any golds. That is why he and Sihine are comparable.

Unfortunately…Bingo!!!
I was hoping that someone would stop Mobot. I did not see anyone stop Mobot.
That also means that tony the tiger is correct again.
That also means that tony the tiger will start some rant on the forum.
I also see that you have already started. Well done.
You will also be happy to know that I am eating a bowel of Sugar Frosted Flakes right now as I am typing this post. They are Grrrreeeaaattttt!!!!!!!!
That is also just an unfortunate coincidence.
The most accurate assessment:
Mo is the GOAT of the biopassport/microdosing era.

Theyw ere single file on the final turn but coming off the final turn the two Brits tried to make a race of it. After it looked like SHapr would go from third to first. Then I thought Ludlow might hold them off. THen as Sharp came up Oskan-Clarke responded and got the win in the final meters.
And SHarp moved up to 2nd.
Ludlow went from 1st to 3rd in the final 10, maybe even 5 meters. She has a horrible final 10 meters. She like had the race and yet somehow ended up third.
1. Shelayna Oskan-Clarke 159.46
2. Lynsey Sharp 1:59.54
3. MOlly Ludlo 1:59.56
