You can't reduce a hug and a box of tissues (what an Oiselle professional contract likely is).

Sally has said she doesn't do performance related reductions in her contracts with the flock. Does she pay out big bonuses for winning championships and making the USA Olympic Team? It is one thing to not reduce a contract but quite another not to bonus up.
Appears whoever started this thread has seen a Oiselle contract or is currently in one. They may have reductions but they also don't have guaratees.. Both can be equally bad depending what side of the fence you are on.

Pretty much true. When Fleshman signed in January 2013 as I think their first professional runner, it was publicly announced that they couldn't afford to pay her, so they gave her shares in the company instead.
It's not publicly traded, and there might be restrictions on who she can sell it to, and the price per share would be a negotiated thing, so not very liquid. If the company grows and goes public, Fleshman could make some real money. If Sally keeps poking the bear the company might go out of business and the shares will be worth zero.
I've never heard of this lady until this thread but somehow she was featured in a documentary as an Olympic team hopeful?
She's on the United Airlines Olympic Documentary. I watched it on a flight the other day and had no idea who this "Olympic hopeful" was. She acted like she was going to make the team.
Oiselle's market is solely to mommy joggers.
Their biggest names are retired or nearly retired women who have children that fitness mommies would know from back in their day of running in college.
Either that or pursue random activities. The lady above (Spartan racing?!) or my personal fave Julia Hanlon (runningonom?)
I don't even know wth is happening anymore.
Still better than that first wrote:

Again, she's the punchline to bad jokes. The local community here realized very early on after the "miraculous" trials qualifier at the Chicago Marathon (2014?) her true persona. She was an unknown runner in the local community before she qualified, and instead of becoming part of that community, she isolated herself and eventually managed to chase off anyone who wanted to support her. It's pretty damning when even typical "hobby jogger" moms refer to her a "kinda bitchy".
When you quote Gweyn Stafani and Dr Dre because in your late 30's you are obsessed with them, and you think your cool because you drink Whiskey; then it makes sense that you believe you are a contender in the marathon trials after a freak low 2:40's run. Looney Tunes

Most of the serious (sub 3 hr) female runners that I know love Oiselle. Apparently their shorts are great.
Just remember, Oiselle has more Olympians than the Brooks Beasts....

Isn't it 1-1?
Grace for Oiselle and the decathlete for the Beasts.
They have the racewalker Maria Michta and also Maria Calle who is running for Ecuador.

You're right. Who likes old people like Gwen Stafani (46) and Dr Dre (51)?
Oh good lord...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTco6Md7iIUHow touching. I find it amusing that the lady shown in a couple shots with her is another Oiselle Ambassador type who also goes around telling people how great she is. She is another bridge burner and seems to have a habit of being the "victim" of unwanted (male) attention everywhere she goes. She blew into SATX a few years ago, bounced around a few of the training groups,(always seemed to cut ties with the ladies she trained with). The best story out her her mouth was when she told everyone she qualified for the Olympic Trials in Eugene for the 1500m.....in the Masters 1500m. Cant make that one up! For some reason her and Ms Duke had a falling out and before she moved from SATX she became part of a rumor that that Ms Duke didn't come by her Marathon OT standard legitimately. What ever that means.
Didn't realize the San Antonio running scene was so scandalous! Brojos should produce a web series based on this!
You don't go from a skirt running 3 hr + Unknown, to a B standard self promoter attempting an A standard without raising eye brows.

I am trying to interview her for my blog. I will let you know when that goes down.
Innuendo?
