Unless these kids have a guaranteed 4 year good school level college education, room board, tuition, books, dedicated good tutor, part time job for more than condom money and wheels set up going pro fall back in the contract they are playing long odds.
Honest truth when the 2020 trials come around I'd rather be an unemployed college grad than an unemployed prorunner.
Of course , with the current Presidential choices a big lose/bigger lose situation who knows if there will be a here left here to worry about.
Totally agree.....careers are short and risky while a college education will last them forever. The chances of them making enough in a 12 year career to support them for 60 + years is slim at best. They will be working fast food outlets before you know it.
