Current odds have some interesting payoffs for two of our good medal hopefuls. Who do you see as the better bet right now?

Are those the odds to win or odds to medal? I would take Merritt for winning, centro for medalling
Sorry, odds to win according to this Aussie site:
Merritt is the better bet for the win or to medal.
He has the #1 time in the world this year and the 400 rarely sees dramatic shakeups.
Centro is several seconds behind the best in ability, so the only way he gets up there is with a shakeup (which does happen in the 1500).
I'll bet on ability over fluke.
I very much doubt that Saladbar would let Centro's testosterone:epitestosterone ratio to get all the way to 17:1, but you never know. I'd say there's a better chance that Merritt's ratio of test:epitest is 6:1.
Yes but I'd take Centro at 17:1 to win rather than Merritt at 6:1 (though its close). The 1500 could be tactical, the 400 wont be. The risk/reward favors Centro to me but honestly, I'd bet both if I had the opportunity.

I don't know if I agree. I would give Merritt about a 30% to 40% chance of winning. At 6:1 odds, that is a really good expectation.
Seems like Kiprop may be mentally affected by his agent rosa being jailed and questioned about EPO. A bet on Makloufi or Centro is a decent hope. The Merritt bet is decent too, although I think James will win. Still good odds considering he's a former world champ and has fastest time this year. If you bet both Merritt and Centro, you're still way ahead if either pulls it out.
Kenya could actually sweep the 1500
Mo Farah 10000:
-350
Mo Farah 5000:
-260
Mo Farah Double Gold
-125
I REALLY like those 10k odds
Go with the Rupp/Centro parlay for the BIG BUCKS

I agree.
6 to 1 seems real steep for Merrit's odds. No more than 3 to 1.
