Are you referring to Suzy "do me a Favor" Hamilton?

Of course it's BS but still fun.
We need and update. And pics.
No BS, no pics, but an update as requested.
I did end up agreeing to go on the date. It was pretty standard as far as dates go, nothing too exciting, nice bar for a cocktail then out to a decent restaurant. I've spent time with this woman one on one before, but never in an environment where it really was just the two of us, and it was nice to connect on a more personal level. She's a great woman, and I gained a greater appreciation for just why she and my wife are such good friends; their personalities really complement each other, and they are both genuinely nice people.
We went on a second date, just drinks this time, and again very natural conversation. It felt really validating for my relationship with my wife that someone who means so much to her is someone with whom I can very naturally connect and spend time with. I'm sorry if there's not much more to say beyond that, these events have been pretty mundane to be honest.
A third date is planned for this Saturday afternoon (I wouldn't be crazy enough to be doing this on an actual date night; these have all been weeknight meetings). We're going to meet in a local park, get something to eat there, and go for a walk.
At the end of our second 'date' I asked her if she felt she was getting out of these dates what she had been hoping for and she replied that she was. My wife says that the two of them have had a few conversations about the dates and what her friend is learning about herself and dating from them, and the whole thing has turned out to be what I'm sure you all would consider to be anti-climactic. I appreciate the advice in the thread, thanks everyone!
Third date is usually the bj date.
Good luck.

Your welcome
Why are these dates a month apart.
No. It is BS. Back under the bridge, troll.
If I meet a friend for coffee, is it a date? If a coworker asks me for lunch, is it a date? Etc etc etc. The thing that changes ordinary life events into "a date", is sex. If neither of you are trying ,or hoping, to have sex with the other, you are not going out on dates. Two friends hanging out is not "dating".
The entire premise of this thread is stupid. It makes me wish the OP isn't a troll because I would prefer if he was actually this big of an idiot. "My friend wants to know what swimming feels like, so can you take her bike riding."

If you are going to go with a Rose, and there is no reason not to, try one (or both) of these:
Domaine de la Mordorée Tavel “La Dame Rousse†2015
Domaine Lafond Roc-Epine Tavel Rosé 2015
Ever try Miraval Rose? It is sold by Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie and it's pretty good. They bought a Chateau in France and their wine is made there.

I have not. The winemakers of the Perrin Family produce high end wines and have for over a century. Best known for their Ch. Beaucastel property and Chateauneuf-du-Pape they have made a very nice rose. Friends and tasters I know find it to be first rate--- a good food pairing and a fine crispy cold stand alone on a hot summers day. Unique packaging (read expensive artsy bottle) pushes it into the overpriced range. Equally good wine can be had for ~6 bucks a bottle less but technically it is a fine wine. The Pitt-Jolie thing should be thought of as a holding company not as winemakers, this is a Perrin family venture and a fine solid wine.

Don't fall for this. Rose, historically, is discards from red wine production in France. In the rest of the world under different names, it's a common way to turn a bad production run into something saleable.
They are fun and easy and should be priced and purchased accordingly.

My comments cover the specific wines and the well known winemakers I mentioned. I can assure you none of those wines are discards from other or failed production runs.
Thank you for adding your thoughts and learned enlightenment on the world wide production of rose.
