Are you kidding? Colorado's climate is mild. It's cold in Gunnison and Alamosa, but even those are high deserts. The Front Range, where most of the other schools are located, are temperate semi-desert. It freezes at night from mid-late Oct to mid-late April, but day time temps are typically in the 30s to 70s. Utah is similar, and probably even a little warmer.
Laramie is a different story, it's only a few miles from the Colorado border but at 7300 or so, it's much colder and windier.
