My friend is getting out of the hospital after fighting a long illness and i want to send them via e-mail or text or something a link that will play a song and show a photo or series of photos while the song plays.
I kind of figure there is something out there in existence that already does this but i can't seem to find it?
Any help is appreciated!

It can definitely do that. If you are going to insert a video or other media, however, make sure you do more than just put a local link. Look up online how to actually put a copy of the video in the powerpoint, not just a link to the files location on your computer. Test it on a friends computer before you send it to make sure it works; I have seen it happen countless times to people at my school for presentations where they made this mistake.

There are tons of websites and apps and software for this sort of musical slide show thing . However I ejected it from my memory for some reason
If they own a Mac you might consider making the file in iMovie.
