What should the racing BMI and fat % of a 400/800m runner look like throughout the year? I've heard in some places that 22.5 ish is a good place to be during outdoor season and 8-9% fat, but I'm thinking it is probably lower during cross country season.
Should I try to gain a little weight once I finish cross country/ indoor track season so that I have a goal to look forward to (instead of just maintaining a steady weight yea round)?
Is it ok to have relatively low fat % as a teenager or will I have health/growing/hormone problems?
