I meant to mention this during the Trials but there was a lot going on. Did you guys see this article?http://www.oregonlive.com/trackandfield/index.ssf/2016/06/eight_years_after_his_breakout.html

"He (Wheating) hasn't visited LetsRun.com, a popular forum where mention of Wheating's career is divisive, in at least five years, and rarely discusses his training with anyone outside of OTC Elite. His roommates are supportive while respectful of his need for balance."

I think the solution to Wheating's struggles is easy. Come on back. We'll give him his own log-in '2-time Olympian/3:30 stud'. Instead of playing xbox online with 8-years old to relax, he can troll the boards.
Hell, we'll give him moderating privileges so any and all negative posts about him are deleted at his discretion.
The balanced thing isn't working. Go back to your roots.

PS. I'm not sure if I agree that he was ever viewed as 'divisive' on here. Didn't everyone pretty much worship him and love him?
