The first concert I remember was Kiss at Maple Leaf Arena in Toronto, early 1984 I think. The drummer played in the turret of a tank, and every now and then they "fired" the gun. Lots of smoke in that room.
The last concert I attended was Roger Waters playing outdoors at Circus Maximus in Rome, summer 2018. I've been to other music events since then, but none I'd call concerts.
My life has really been enriched by music, and I wish I could play or sing, but I can't. I love street music; this is one of my favourite things about living, wandering around a new city and stumbling across random street musicians, some awful, some OK, some fantastic, but all of them working it, doing their best at what they love.
I've seen a ton of concerts, more than my fair share. I've seen Dylan a half dozen times or more, including a double header with Mark Knopfler in Montreal a few years ago. Some of the best or most memorable concerts I've attended have been:
- Tom Cochrane (of Red Rider from long ago)
- Pink Floyd in '87
- The Who in their 25-year anniversary farewell tour in '89 (liars...)
- BB King (twice; second time just months before he passed)
- duelling string orchestras (one from Quebec, one from Belgium) a couple of years ago
- Fleetwood Mac ~ 1991 (this was memorable for being an awful letdown, although I'm still and always sweet on Stevie Nicks)
- Steve Miller (best outdoor concert EVER)
- Mark Knopfler a handful of times
- a million random shows at outdoor festivals and randomly encountered in foreign cities...
First around 2004 local punk rock bands in a seedy downtown bar
Last 2010 reggae festival

Maple Leaf Gardens, dammit! I hope they don't revoke my citizenship over that brain fart...
I need to correct myself; the earliest concert I remember, having thought about it some more, is when my folks took me and my siblings to the Grand Ole Opry back in ~ 1975. I've never liked country music, but that was a rocking good time...

TLC in 1995 at Canada’s Wonderland - Kingswood music theatre

Carly Rae Jepsen in 2019

How would anyone know what their last concert will be?
I think the poster meant “most recent concert”
First concert - 3 Doors Down in Sioux Falls, SD 2001
Most recent - Disturbed in Greenville, SC 2019
I've seen a lot of better bands in between
First concert: Nickelback 2002
Most recent concert: Nickelback 2020
Only band I've ever seen live. I figure when you've seen the best, who cares about the rest?

Nickelback is underrated
First: Summer 1993 - Grateful Dead (Jerry Garcia still alive) with Sting as opener. Only went because GF at the time was a big Dead fan. I hated the concert.
Last: Fall 2019 - Either Iron Maiden or Metallica. Saw them both in like a months span, just can't remember the order.
Band I've seen the most? A whole bunch at 3 times each (Journey, Guns and Roses, Metallica, Pantera, Rush, Soulfly, and probably several others that slip my mind)
First - Lollapalooza 1993. For the kids among us, this was back when Lollapalooza used to tour the country like a circus. It was the year with Dinosaur Jr, Tool, Rage, Primus, Front 242, and others...
Most Recent- Kurt Vile.
First was Herman's Hermits 1965...
Last one was The Eagles in 2018..
1st: Eric Clapton, 461 Ocean Blvd tour in Long Beach, CA. with Yvonne Elliman & George Terry, 1972?
Last: Sweethearts of the Rodeo in Manhatten Beach before they moved to Nashville.
The Boss - Capitol Arena 1980
Kurt Vile - the Met, Philadelphia
Wow, there are a lot more old runners on here than I assumed.
First concert: A Beatles Cover band 1979. They made a live album and I am on the front cover.
Last concert: Jazz concert in March 2020, just before masks got fashionable.
