Why was Ben so bummed looking about making the team?

...because someone sank his Blankenship.

Blankenship has a beard. Young liberals sometimes have beards. Blankenship must be liberal. I hate liberals! BEN BLANKENSHIP IS SUCH A JOKE! WHAT A LOSER! NYAH! I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK!
This guy reminds me of Gilfoyle
Why is this such a dumb post?
See, I can ask questions, too.
Because it's stupid, just like you're post. 9 out of 10 posts on this site are stupid on all levels. As someone said, it's a bunch of shills posting to get hits for the site. Not really that hard to figure out.

We believe the OP is referring to our post-race interviews with Ben. Here is one with just him:

Here is one from the post-race press conference where he a bunch of super short answers:

In our recap of the 1500, we referred to his responses as 'businesslike.'

Than he is.
Maybe the win was the most important thing for him and he just barely made it. But making the team is a huge accomplishment and he will forever be an Olympian.
I can't believe no one has stated the real reason:
because he was scared as !$$% about getting DQ'd.
Because he wasn't thinking about making the team. He was thinking about gold in Rio.
I think he is worried about the economic and political incompetence and chaos in rio. He'd rather the Olympic Games be
In Minnesota. Plenty of open space but it might be culture shock to have an international crowd flood in.
Instead of losing money Minnesota can think of a way to make money off hosting the Olympics.
Exactly - he knew that there were flags and that a protest had happened so it seems clear he was trying to stay collected until the final results came out. Hard to fully celebrate when the result is under review. A DQ would have been ridiculous and the right team is going, congrats to Blankenship and Centro and Andrews - well deserved for all three.

What a puss you are?
Normally I'd ignore a post like yours, and I hope you aren't serious.
One of the reasons you are posting and not out training. I am retired. I already had my time in the sun. And it didn't involve whining on the computer. Of course computers were in their infancy back then.
. . . He's a stoic Minnesotan. His race was not bad, and winter is only a few months away.

A bear has claws at the end of his paws, but a sentence has a pause at the end of its clause.
Hahahahahaha
Because people are asking him stupid questions like
How does it feel to make the Olympic team?

Decent point.
How many ways can someone honestly respond to that question on the record for reporters?
Isn't Oregon Hipsterville? Hipsterville means tattoo parlors. There must be 15-20 ink shops begging BB to get his Olympic rings at their parlor. That's a lot of pressure. Once the ink is dry he'll lighten up.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
