Hill and True just didn't have it. Jenkins has to be kicking himself.

This was jenkins only year he could make it. He'll be too old next time.
Ducks running on their home track and who have run well enough recently to have made it: Laura Roesler, Jenkins, and Raevyn Rogers
What does anything have to do with her performance at the trials, other than emphasizing how disappointing it was?
Mary Cain looked real good!!!!!!!!!! Yeazzzzzzzzzzzz!
11th out of 12 in the 1500 - at least she didn't finish last! BIG WIN
Johnny Dutch.
No doubt.
Aries Merrit too.
That Montano chick that was crying all over and falling down took defeat well.

Alyssa Montano. she was so devastated she could barely stand up the last 150m.
That's my vote as well. So devastated she can't eat or sleep,
especially after that amazing all out world class last 100 that she ran.
All the letsrun fan boys that were disappointed in that American-born runners were beaten by naturalized citizens.
Teeters. He was supposed to run a 9.55 and prove that whites are actually superior sprinters than blacks, and the only reason for lack of whites running 9.6 100s is due to environment, rather than genetics.
Second would probably be Tyson Gay. I think this may well have been his last chance at Olympic glory, he's not getting any younger and got busted for high once already. One has to wonder from his performance this season, is he off the juice completely or just low dose cruising so he doesn't get caught again? I mean here's the man who is still the USA 100m record holder and has also ran a blazing 19.58, which Gatlin hasn't even reached, yet.
Ummm, ever heard of Jordan Hasay?
Ummm Donovan Brazier? One of the fastest times in the world this year, should have been a lock to make the team, and couldn't even make it out of the rounds. And no apparent reason for it. "it's been a long season" doesn't explain the sudden loss of fitness.
Letsrun racist-xenophobic trolls had a pretty rough week, with immigrants winning a lot of spots in the distance races. I take it that they are pretty devastated.

If they hadn't before, they have after the eight previous posts about her in this thread.

I had to stop watching the Mackey and Uceny interviews because I really like both of them and their grief re: not making the team was so obvious.
I particularly feel for Uceny. She's got a lot of talent and heart. She's had a lot of bad luck.
I agree Uceny might be most devastated. World class at the time of the last Olympics but fell and became a letsrun joke. As a result, lost confidence and had poor results for a few years, but struggled on rather than retiring. She wis finally coming back into shape, but it seems it was just a bit too late. Now she has no chance for redemption at Rio and likely will not make another Olympic team. Too sad.
I agree with Hill and True. Both
After the women's 1500 meter final, there was a kid in the stands that spilled his ice cream on the ground. He was crying vehemently, and appeared distraught, inconsolable, and downright devastated!!! He probably wont have to wait for more years for another opportunity, however.
Johhny Dutch was leading and clear over the last hurdle. Tied up so badly he did not make the team.

About Jordan
Hasay started running in elementary school, and she quickly gained acclaim around the nation as the fast young girl with the long blond ponytail. Hasay started by rewriting the Junior Olympic record books and quickly moved on to winning USA Junior championships and making international teams for youth and juniors. In 2008, Hasay ran in the 1500m finals of the Olympic Trials as a high school junior, and in 2009 she graduated as one of the most decorated high school distance runners of all-time. Running for the University of Oregon, Hasay recorded nine top-three finishes at the NCAA track & field championships. After graduating, Hasay joined Alberto Salazar’s Oregon Project and qualified for her first senior world team in the 10,000m
