Will Ben Blankenship get DQd?

Looked to me on the stream like Avila cut in front of Blankenship.

Like Uceny did to Martinez, by the way.

No way he should be DQ'ed. If he is I am never watching another track meet again. The corruption is unreal if that guy gets a DQ.

No, no way will they DQ him. That was nothing even remotely close to a DQ. It was the result of mutual contact, not him just pushing Avila, 2 completely different things.

He also ran wide on the homestretch to force Manzano to go wide to try to pass him.

Blankenship was on the rail coming out of the final turn but finished in the middle of lane two, edging wide to cut off Manzano, directly impeding him.

And Andrews was out of reach so Blankenship was not going wide to get around anyone.

Honestly though, I do not think a DQ is in order.

Seems like he tried a couple times to take out Manzano, who would be his competition for the last spot.

Manzano out of gas yes. But. Blankenship was pushing himself into lane 3. That's pathetic. He should be disqualified for that.

Yes! DQ him! 2 incidents to blame on him. Manzano should be in.

There will be no DQ.

I am not in favor of any DQ unless it is quite clear.

are you serious the guy punched Avila on the back! He might have knocked the wind out of him and knocked him out of race mode. Avila should protest!

looks like he also impeded Manzano stride at the end of the race and Manzano lost momentum after that!

Maybe he's disqualified. Maybe not. But that guy had demonstrated himself a jerk and a loser so many times.
