Have you ever been ranked #1 in the world and not make the olympic team?
I think most of us have been guilty of being a monday morning qb at some point in our lives, but when it comes to emotions at a specific moment, you'll never understand completely without being in a persons skin.

NBC did show the race, watched it live while at work yesterday. You can see the race on their site btw. Learn to read schedules and understand what's being streamed, what's being broadcast and you'll be able to see the remaining events.
Little was wearing her glasses. She ran like s*it. Everyone makes excuses for certain types of runners like Montano or Little while attacking others like Rupp. Little looked awful from start to finish. Either nerves, sick, or something's up in the doping dept.
What type of runner is she and what excuses have been made for her? All I've read has been posters guessing at what could have happened.
Anywho, she didn't run like sh!t, she was on pace to run what was necessary to qualify, she simply ended up in a deeper heat than the 1st. If you didnt notice, her time was faster than everyone in the 1st heat except the winner.
Took many of you here like to assume with no actual knowledge what goes on with these athletes and you're typically 100% wrong.
I thought her reaction was pretty mild given the circumstances.

You dont read good.....
The statement made was that she was on pace to qualify. Meaning her time and her race pattern was set up to get to the final. You can't decide whats typical of her if all you're doing is basing your expectations on her best times. She's never run particularly fast during rounds.
Perhaps she miscalculated:
Thought she was actually in 4th place when she finished.
She looked more stunned, than anything, after the race.

I read very well. Your logic is as shitty as her shitty race. Whether she's run particularly fast in rounds means nothing. She ran a race which did not qualify her for the final which means she, the fastest in the world at the event, ran a shit race no matter what your less than optimum expectation might be for her.

Little ran two races about 2s slower than her season best.
Either she is nursing an injury or perhaps there was too much thought put into going through rounds and she held back early and couldn't hit it at the end.
The 400 hurdles aren't really that tactical. Even a lot of the pros don't have incredible form going over these things. It is a way different event than the 100 or 110s in terms of technical demands.
Long college season and an Injury. She will be back

That's what it looked like to me, too. Lack of experience in lane 7 against top tier competition.
It's unfortunate little didn't make it to the finals. Maybe she should take this time to grow up, learn to act like a professional athlete and not a child. This young lady is in need of handlers when it comes to social media. People will have opinions
All day long, but it doesn't look good when you are attacking people on the twitter all because you don't like what they say about you. She wasn't ready to represent the USA let along her NEW sponser ADDIAS. I still like her as an athlete, but I see her in a diffrent light now.

It was raining in the Prelim and she was shielding her glasses from the rain before getting into the blocks. Not sure about the Semi. If not raining outright, it was humid which can be worse fogging glasses up. She just seemed off anyway.

My logic is based on an actual conversation with her. If you understand your own words, YOU said that she ran a bad race for HER. This is why i said that YOU dont get to decide whats typical of her. So yes, what she usually runs in rounds does matter when it comes to describing what a bad race is "for her"......
My expectations of her was to win the trials and win in Rio.

Was she not ready to represent the USA last year in Beijing? These athletes are still people and a great majority are basically still kids. The disconnect between athletes/celebs etc tends to be created by the idea that they have to be immune the issues that every day people deal with. In most cases they're easy targets because WE want to be the critics. How about for once, we allow them to be genuine and let the world decide who to support or condemn.
She behaved disgracefully with that childish tantrum.good riddance. Trash.
No class.
