It would be quite interesting if track & field had a monthly magazine for body pics for both males and females.
As a supporter of GLBTism, I insist on it, otherwise legal action will be forthcoming.

I just want to add that anyone looking at those pictures as sexual is effed up, repressed, damaged, and without the ability to put things in perspective.
The human body is beautiful, and one form of the beautiful human body is The Female or Male Athletic body.
Go look at some Greek Classical Sculptures.
I appreciate Emma's sister chiming in.
The only question I have about the shoot and pics is if Emma lifted weights, or otherwise worked out /warmed up before the shoot. I.e., ala weight lifters who "pump up" before a photo shoot.
If her muscles are that detailed without a warm up...well it is clear why she is world class.
Hope she medals in Rio, then gets a tan ;)

Emma Coburn was used as a model for the lead female role in this comic book. Scroll down for pictures, see if you catch the resemblance.

I can see the resemblance in one of the hospital drawings...but why'd you make her look 45?

Steeplechase is a great event.
I'm her sister and am the "extra 20 pound" version of her. TRUST ME....you'd rather her body any day. She is 100% beautiful and perfect just as she is.
Here is Emma and her sister with the "extra 20 pounds". I'd tap that.

Those photos are great evidence of what I was saying earlier. The Body Issue has her contracting a lot of muscles at once, thereby looking masculine. However, in the links above, she looks smoother, and more feminine because she's just standing still.

I literally emptied my seed sack to the pics on purpose after seeing all these SJWs up in arms over some very tame pics of Emma. Get a life people. Lighten up. Ironically you same morons are cool with male pervs being in woman's bathrooms at Target and B&N. Smh. Morons.

You are frigging disturbing.
Easy to identify where seven or eight of those additional pounds ended up.

The idea that an athletic woman contracting all of her muscles at once "looks masculine" is actually a little backwards, don't you think? Emma Coburn is a woman and an athlete, and so by definition, she looks like A woman. Women, like men, are individual people, which means that some look different than others. The fact that her appearance in these pictures does not correspond to a widely shared idea about what a woman should look like should not lead us to conclude that she doesn't look like a woman. Instead, it should lead us to the more obvious conclusion that some of our beliefs about what women "look like" are wrong.
Maybe she should have done Playboy instead. She's so friggin homely. Looks like a preying mantis or something. Disgusting.
She looks like Wetmore TBH

I think you are the type of person that could use some repression. I think we can all agree with that.
