not the best aesthetic judgment involved in the photos they subject us to on the espn.com home page. SI knows how to do it right. This espn function can make even the most beautiful woman, such as ec, look awkward, and I just do not want to see any men unclothed when I am looking for my sports fix, or any other time.

Also, other insider knowledge from the shoot...my parents were no where near the nudity. They helped corrdnidate the shoot and support Emma and ESPN. Everyone was comfortable and kept a tasteful distance.

Lastly, as someone who spends time with Emma every day, her body truly is that fit. Nothing photoshopped about it. Maybe a well placed snowflake here or there, but NOTHING doctored about it. She's the real deal folks.

I am a big Emma fan and think she is the best looking athlete on the circuit today. The SI pics were disappointing to me. I don't like the photoshop (and I don't believe for a second, they didn't photoshop) or maybe the filters they used for color. They just look kinda 'fake'. Emma doesn't need it.

I enjoy the action pics of Emma mid stride, floating over the water, after a jump anyday over the nude photos.

They're not retouched, per se, it's a setting some photographers use that increases clarity in the photo, hence brights will appear a little more surreal/3-D and somewhat enhance/display the muscle definition.

Colleen Quigley is much better looking than Coburn. I guarantee there would be no complaints if she was in the body issue instead.

The shoot location and temperature was poorly selected.

People look better when they are not frozen. It makes the skin all blotchy and covered in goosebumps.

She's not particularly pretty. High Rockies tan not great. But man, what a chiseled frame full of ligaments and tendons. Incredibly impressive as elite runners go, not really anything sexy. The Heisman Pose was amusing though. She did resemble a chiseled statue.

She had no intention of producing images for you guys to use to jack off. If you want such images you will need to look elsewhere.

Pretty sure Emmas sister doesn't go on LRC. The video on espn shows that her parents WERE there at the shoot, along with her boyfriend and a camera crew. As the extra 40 pound version of the coburns I can tell you all that this thread is dumb. ESPN does the body issue every year, there's always someone who looks super sexy and others who are freak athlete fit.

I hope Emma doesn't let any of this distract her from the trials. But if she can deal with people asking dumb questions about a technicality keeping her from having the american record for a year, she can probably handle " Was it weird to get photographed naked?" for a couple weeks.
