Probably the most bad ass story of the trials

Sorry to burst Patrick Casey's bubble, but college athletes at HOME meets do this all the time.
Now, if Charles Jock had ridden his bike from East Springfield or Corvallis, I'd be damned impressed. Congrats on him (Jock) making the Oly team.
Then he rode back to Taylor's and commanded the dance floor.
unimpressive

Pat Casey
That's the most blue collar thing I've ever heard.
Horrible conclusion. If he lives less than two or three miles from the stadium (which is likely as a Eugene resident) then it'd be almost foolish to get there by any other means of transportation.

It's only hipster if he was riding a fixie.
Are there AA hipsters? I picture white dudes with facial hair.
Probably to shake out the legs and have them feel fresh! My coach coached him back when he went to my high school. Won state as a senior, 2nd in nationals, and just continued to show passion for the sport. He has come a long way and i'm proud to see all his hard work pay off.

Thanks for not contributing. College athletes. Not professional athletes that are trying to make or break their career with Olympic Trials on the line. And with Nike, we now know they have serious reduction clauses.

He's a professional racer. Not a student. It's humble and awesome.
if anybody else follows sheila reid on snapchat.. she posted from the passenger seat of CJ's car yesterday and joked about it being his bike. which led me to believe the whole bike thing isn't true..

Agreed. Comparing a home college meet to the US OLYMPIC TRIALS is asinine.
