Bolt could have flown back and forth to Germany countless times before this and would you have known? Why would he, or anyone, need to declare an injury before being sold a flight to Germany? You do know a person can travel to Germany without a doctor's note, right?
Yes, an american can go to Germany without a doctor's note. But a Jamaican?
He needs a visa. And the visa needs to state the purpose of the visit. Without a doctor's note? "Oh, hi, I'm just here to see the remnants of the Berlin wall."
Are you being serious? You believe you need a doctor's note for a visa? That's ridiculous. Guess what, a lot of tourists visit Germany and they don't go to see the Berlin Wall. I've been to Germany a lot, but never Berlin. I've also been to a numver of countries that required me to get a Visa, and I've never seen a spot on the application for "doctor's note". Also, Bolt travels all over the world and I doubt he worries about the travel details personally.
I'm not commenting on the doping accusations, I'm just saying that he can travel to Germany without a doctor's note, whether or not he wishes to see the remains of the Berlin Wall.
