The NBC one hasn't even started yet
You may need to refresh. I had to expand the window to get the player to appear.
But it is the only source right now.
the kid peaked at ncaa final. nothing wrong with not making olympics against pros when you ran the race of your life a couple of weeks ago. prob pissed rn.
Unreal. Stupid racing from Brazier, lack of experience to understand these timed heats and what it takes.
Bye Bye Solomon and Symmonds, we hate to see both you guys go! End of an era..

Yes it has. What do you think we are all watching? The TV broadcast starts at 9pm EDT, but until then we are all watching from that link above. There doesn't appear to be a pirated stream of it b/c this one is open/free.

The nbc stream is great (unless maybe you wanted to follow the high jump and discus). Showed all 4 heats. No commercials. No fluff.
Agree with you. Has anyone figured out who the announcer is? He is doing very well as well.
This NBC stream on the app is equally amazing and terrible
The 800 has to be the least predictable event in track. In what other event do two of the biggest favorites not even advance out of the prelims?
Good thing brazier signed what i assume is a very nice nike contract already.

Watch Harris qualify now
Harris was top 3. He did make the next round
So far the highlights of this meet are
1) The announcer on the live stream is pretty darn good and
2) Berian ran a great (smart) heat

Solomon wasn't really a favorite at all

It really is. It's not the NBC sports network. The coverage is economical, one commentator (doing good so far), no graphics besides the running time.
We don't get many meets like this, without the burden of commercials or subscriptions, but we won't get any if people try to "grow the sport" without doing it carefully
What the fvck is happening this year?

Now his reductions start kicking in.
These high jumpers are terrible.

What did tactics or experience have to do with it? He didn't have the gas.

He just signed. He isn't going anywhere. Remember last year when the great Boris make it out of the Semi's - it happens.
Brazier and Solomon out hurts out medal chances a lot. Berian has a great shot at a medal, but Brazier has that ability to run 1:42 this year if healthy--honestly, he looked like he hurt something in the race. We need the guys who are potentially great, no the steady, consistent, but slower guys. Well, today, Brazier did not have it. Quite unfortunate.
We've been talking to some of the guys in the mixed zone.
Murphy said he had "Prelim legs" but he got the job done and had a good day at the office and made it to the next round.
Brazier said that he should have gone out two seconds faster in his heat and that he felt tired when he was passed at the end of the race, simple as that. Brazier said that it's been a long season for him.
Solomon let up as he wanted to conserve as much energy as possible but didn't realize how fast everyone else was closing on him. He admitted that it was a rookie mistake but didn't seem too downbeat. At the time we talked to him, though, there was a still a chance he would advance. His mood may have changed since then.
