We're one week away...you ready?
I just upped my mileage this week. Ready to rip a big one. Trying to get an age bracket victory this year. Even got my vaporflies.
Second best hungover running event of the year.
Got my American flag shorts, shirt, and headband ready to go. As they say, "red, white and blue m'fer."
Totally not ready for 4th of July racing. Maybe by Thanksgiving??
I’ve been training and racing for nearly half a century and I don’t know how some of you folks can run back to back races. I’ve never been able to even mentally prepare for it
Holidays always bring back to back races and man… I don’t know how ya do it!!!
I'm ready! I will be wearing my split shorts, race flats and a singlet. I am 35 years old with no kids and an office job. I will probably run 19:54 but I will act like god's gift to distance running and turn my nose up at everyone slower than I am!
I’m ready, hamstring is feeling good.
I’m going bust out sub 25 min 5k then get back out there and run people in.
I was you at one point!
I am not a hobby jogger. I am the next Matt London.
No.
I'm not racing until Covid is undetectable.
I don't need the atmosphere, the cheering or the rush anymore.
I'm 48 years old.
I know I'm fit.
I know I can run.
I know I like to stay fit
But
Too many will race while positive because they don't want to lose $
Too many will think they have allergies but um..
Races are too crowded
America is too crowded.
I'm not prepared to throw away my cautious lifestyle for a stupid running fling.
Maybe next year.
Maybe never again.
You depraved son of a who*e.
I've not been sick with anything since January 2016.
Don't even fool with me dude because I'll go after you, your family, your roots and your living heritage.
I ain't playing.
And I'll find you anyway
Good luck.
Yes.
