good question
I stopped doing the prediction contests because I had this permanent division between who I picked for the win and who I wanted to win. I was never happy.
So who am I rooting for?
Huddle, Cain, Abbey D, Sowinsky, montano, Ajee
basically the people I am confident aren't doping
Forget About the Predictions, Who Are You Rooting for at the Trials?

Boris Berian cause he is fierce and defeated Nike
Ummm Nike gave up. Not really defeated. -
Robby Andrews - I have been following him since his HS days. He is the most exciting runner to watch in my opinion as you can never underestimate that kick.
Mary Cain - I've also been following her since her early HS days when I saw her run the anchor leg on her HS 4 x 800m team in 2:03 as a freshman. It doesn't look like she can make the team with her current performances but the talent is there and she just might surprise us.
Maggie Vessey - She closes as well as anyone. She has been running consistent 2:00's for the past couple of years. If the race sets up right for her, this could be the year that she goes back down under 2:00 and makes the team. -
Ben True
Ryan Hill
Kyle Merber
Garrett Heath
Andrew Wheating
Nick Symmonds
Donovan Brazier -
Jenkins and Blankenship.

Brandon Hudgins, endured several bouts with Wegner's Granulomatosis over the past several years, worked full time until about a week ago. 359 at Sir Walter Miler last year, 338 at Furman 1500. BHUDG

Abbey D'Agostino in the 5k
Ben True in the 5k
Kyle Merber in the 1500
Uceny in the 1500
Kate Grace in the 800
Adam Nelson in the shot put (it would be his 4th team if he makes it)
Gabrielle Thomas in the 200 -

In the women's 1500, I'm rooting for Rachel Schneider. She went to Georgetown, and still lives and trains around Washington DC.
Also, my big brother is dating her.

DONNIE COWART IN THE STEEEEEEPLE!
The guy is beast and also the nicest man on earth. C'mon Donnie, you are definitely IN your element this year! -
I'm hoping that Leah O'Connor makes it in the steeple.
+1 on cheering for a good showing from Brandon Hudgins. He went to a rival high school and everyone in the area is so happy for him and how much he's overcome to make the Trials. -
Maybe, maybe not. Who's asking?

Abbey DAGS and Ben True. Go Big Green.
-
Merber, Sowinski and Justin Frick
Amy Acuff The Winning Edge gal and Adam Nelson for old time sake.
Acuff has an international medal that is 4 years older than V. Cunningham -

Manzano is my favorite runner so I am always rooting for him.
But he has had more than his share of success and would be OK with someone else getting a shot.
I'm also pulling for Jordan McNamara if a spot opens. -
