Ejigayehu in the 1500??!
None sense!
She's way past her Marathon days....

Ejegayehu was quite filled out a few years ago, so I'm surprised she is competing again. However I probably shouldn't be, as many people make comebacks, and being a Dibaba makes this even less surprising. Good for her.
Business as usual in Barcelona, or no-show-a-go-go?
E.dibaba is still running???
And I doubt she can make the team unless g.dibaba drops out from the 1500m.

This should be interesting. I thought Ejegayehu retired several years ago and before that she was only racing on the roads and before that the 10K on the track and now she is going to race a 1500. That's strange.

E. DIBABA has no chance to get top three spot in 5k and 10k. It makes sense to try the 1500 as it is easy to get the third spot. No medal hope though. May be she is interested in participating. Have 3 sisters participated in the same olympics before?

Any word on what's happening with Tirunesh? She's no longer on the start list of Hengelo 10k and is running out of time to qualify

I believe Tirunesh has a qualifying time from winning the world champs last year unless EAF requires her to run a qualifying time again in order to be considered.
erm what? T.Dibaba didn't run last year due to pregnancy so no qualifying mark

It is Ayana who won the 5K last year.
You got me on that hahaha! I am daydreaming and just confusing last year with 2013 where Tiru won her last 10K race. So yeah, she needs to hit a qualifier according to Iaaf rules. Bad thing there is no entry by Iaaf special invitation in her event.
coach caught in a sting with epo, and she's still racing? how is this even possible?

this is track and field where we pretend to be tough on drugs. A few backroom deals will get all of Aden's athletes off, maybe some nobody gets banned so the IAAF appears tough.

Its Anna Dibaba in the start list ppl, not Ejigayehu. She is the youngest runner from the Dibaba family. She was with Genzebe at some point as a translator for Genzebe when Genzebe won one of her awards. Some of you might remember!
