tl;dr He probably did the workouts, but he is just babying out or has never run before. There is no way anyone who's has run a 5:23 mile would be physically burned out after those 6 days.
Here's a summary of what his videos say
Day 1
Am: Easy 4
Pm: 2 mile in 13:XX, 10 min rest, 1 mile in 5:4X, 10 rest, 800 in 2:40, 5 min rest, 400 in 71, 1 min rest, 200 in 34, 10x100 in 12-13 (not part of Jim Ryun's training, not sure why he is doing it)
Day 2
Am: Easy 4
Pm: 3x400, 4x150
Day 3
Am: Easy 4
Pm: 40x400, first 30 at 6:40 pace (1:40 per 400), last 10 under 5:30 pace (4 of the last 10 in 71, 74, 74 and 76). Plus he is taking a 3 min rest in between each rep.
Day 4
Rest
Day 5 (from strava)
Am: 11.9 miles at 12:47 pace, walked last 2 miles as they were over 15 minutes. Biggest elevation gain was only 100 ft, so not super hilly. Not sure what this was.
Pm: 22 min fartlek at 9:56 pace avg. running a total of just over 2 miles
Day 6 (from strava)
easy 3.4 at 8:38 pace
So day 1 he did a 2 mile tempo, a fast mile, a fast 800, fast 400, fast 200 and 10x100 and took rests of 10 mins, 10 mins, 5 mins, and 1 min respectively. Quality day, but not overly difficult
Day 2 was not very taxing at all 3x400 and 4x150 plus some easy miles is not stressful, even if he had only been running 15 miles per week.
Day 3
I mean he did 30 400's at tempo pace with 3 MINUTES OF REST. That is very easy. The last 10 at sub 5:30 pace which is a good workout. So he pretty much ran 10x400 with a really good warmup, nothing crazy.
Day 4
Rest, he should be pretty recovered after this off day, with three days of good efforts, but not insane.
Day 5
Long run at a very slow pace, with a very short fartlek session in the pm. Not overly difficult.
Day 6
3.4 easy, not stressful at all.
How do you get physically burned out after this? I mean, if this kid has run what he claims on this board, being done (for now) after 6 days either means he isn't doing it (and is a pretty good troll, would be a 10/10), is wussing out and/or has never run in his life.

Is it that hard to believe he ran a 3 x 400? Anyway great thread. Best stuff on LetsRun currently. He should record himself running eventually though.
