No I didn't. We never saw the whole NB contract. All the clauses. We did see the incentive schedule in the contract assuming the took it from the offer sheet.
It's not that difficult to understand.
I bet Nike stopped pursuing Berain because they are going to go after Brazier. Brazier decided to turn pro and run the trials after Berain was served. They probably figured Brazier has more potential and the negative press and lawsuit weren't worth it anymore.

You cannot look at something that isn't there; the contract.

You heard it here first. Will be announced tomorrow. Brojos feel free to call Henry to confirm or just wait for noon time tomorrow.
Still waiting for that announcement. Is this whole thing a hoax?

Just say it was too hard to understand. You must be 12 or so.
termination clauses wrote:
Almost every employment contract has termination clauses. At large companies an employee can be terminated if certain situations occur: use of drugs at work, physical fights, sexual harassment, etc.
These are not employment contracts. They are endorsement deals.
Nike wants him, they should "offer that he can't refuse."
Like a million a year with no reductions should about do it.
OP- 10/10
You got wejo, malmo, and many others ranting ferociously, and all it took was a simple lie.
So true! Most people cannot even name anyone except Bolt, Gatlin, Gay, some asafa and blake. Shoot most people still think of Lolo as competitive.
Mission accomplished. I make up fake stories like this every couple years when a big stud is about to go pro and just sit back and watch everyone go nuts. Best ever was when I said manzano had signed with asics and one of the brojos actually called vigilante to confirm. Until next time...
Brazier won't even make the team.
Yawn.

I agree but I hope I'm wrong. Young guy doesn't have the depth to run 3 rounds. But like I said (earlier when I said what I said) I hope I'm wrong. I really do, like I said earlier. Brazier is silk smooth and he's an incredible talent. He should get some good coaching about running the rounds. He's fast enough to preserve energy and sit and kick if he'll have the discipline and patience to do so in rounds 1 and 2. Like I said. When I said what I said. But I think he won't.
And he signs with Nike

I don't think he has the strength for the rounds, but he is 3/4 of a second faster than any other US runner right now and 3rd in the world in 2016. If he's coached well, hopefully he can sit and kick just enough to qualify through the rounds.

I think that this is the first time that the LRC MBs have ever been wrong about anything. I was convinced that NB was ruling the T&F world now.

Well they picked up Murphy and Brazier is huge, just shows they are still in control

Come on guys...who on earth really thought New Balance could afford both Berrian and Brazier?!?! You guys are so damn gullible.
Brazier is going to WIN the Olympic Trials.
