I have a brother like Farah, in regards to instant denial and truth avoidance. People like that have done so long--my brother since grade school and now 40 years of experience--it is hard to what is true, and what is not. Always assume not true with this type of person and you are right most of the time. Politicians, and pan-handlers, are examples of these types of people.
It's a very useful and successful trait. The very best of the best in sports, politics and business have this skill nailed.
Because you don't become the best without being able to step on or step over your fellow man.
Especially in T&F where you must dope to win - you need that bare faced lying ability or you won't make it.
