so why do the results have her at age 21?
That is the year (2021) that she graduates high school.

Lol, this is proof that 98% of LRC members have an IQ below 125. Only 1 person could deduce that its their graduating year lol. So many of you overstate your true iq. Most of you are in the 115 range.
With all respect that is an absolute amazing time for her age and or any girl even in HS. No question. I just hope that her talent and drive to compete so well, survives 'puberty' and 'possible young age burnout'. How does one 'keep the Olympic flame alive; without over heating the furnace'?
Note that Kelati is 19, 7 years older than Ping. She is a HS sophomore, but will compete only this year, in an unusual age/class arrangement.
could have been a D3 All American as a 7th grader lol

That was the second person who noted it.
Based on Lawson's recent performances (4:27 1500m, 9:24 3000m), I would have expected something in the 16:30s from her but it seemed particularly warm and windy which throws in an element of uncertainty in the mix.

The first time I've seen a result with "'21" as the graduation year. She's getting closer to Hasay's 9:35 3K AG mark, and still has a year to do so.
Looks like it was windy, Mareno giving Kelati a good race.
