"WE" would suggest that either his coach, his agent, his family, or someone else affiliated typed that up

Typo meant "he", not we. Thanks.

He needs to learn from teenagers how to subtweet... should have left out the #Saladbar and let you guess who he's talking about.

A vestigial relationship?
This phrase shows you do not understand the meaning of the word vestigial.
It also tells us much about you.
"forming a very small remnant of something that was once much larger or more noticeable.
synonyms: remaining, surviving, residual, leftover, lingering
BIOLOGY
(of an organ or part of the body) degenerate, rudimentary, or atrophied, having become functionless in the course of evolution.
I believe you want to use the word cursory, or passing, or superficial..

Looks like he used it perfectly.....
Vestigial is a much better fit than any of the words you suggested.

I agree
True. The people running under Hermens and Rosa should be banned as well, now that we've witnessed the spectacle of these frauds having used the same heart med as the hated Russians, and scores of them being caught doped to the gills - not their top stars though, just dozens of their training mates. Talk about double-standards and political correctness.

No he didn't.
I actually have been working on compiling a top 100 list for both US and World athletes, and adding up the different placings in an attempt to attempt to answer the question "who has the greatest range". I have a completed list for both categories in the men, and working on the women (hope to have it by OTs) where I will post it on here with some analysis. I can tell you that from what I have compiled on the US men side, there are only 4 men who are top 100 in history for 4 different Olympic events.
Webb
Rupp
Fam
Eaton
Pretty exclusive company indeed, no matter what you think of him personally.

It's not debatable. He is delusional. There are undeniable examples of it over the years and because of that not much Fam says holds much weight. He was a great runner once, that's also the truth.
Relevant enough that you're talking about him.

We're talking about him because he made the comment....that's what this thread is about. He was a great runner, doesn't change his state of mind. Your post shows you severely lack intelligence as it has no bearing on anything that's been said.
Gabe Jennings was a great runner whom people discussed. Doesn't change that he was off his rocker a bit.
Yeeaaahhhhhh, baaaabbbbyyyyy!!!

Many are a bit off their rocker, people like Fam and Gabe were/are self-obsessed nut bags though.
Webb's range is still better by far...

Top 100 in American history, in any given event, is going to end up in pretty lackluster territory. Top ten would be very impressive. I would assume Rupp is pretty close, and will be there once he runs a real marathon.
Furthermore, an event like the steeplechase shouldn't grant you entry into the conversation. I was a steepler myself, and have nothing but respect for the event, but the vast majority of runners never try it.
