Whom?
I am trying to imagine a topic upon which I would trust Anthony Famiglietti. If he told me he wet his bed until he was six--I might trust him if he could get mamma Famiglietti to back him up. Otherwise, just about anything that comes out of his mouth bears only a vestigial relationship with reality.
Salazar either is or is not a cheat--but Fam is no source of truth or even reasonable conjecture.

Some sort of drugs screwed up Fam's head.

Dude's delusional. Sure he has some traction in his local community, but, in any meaningful way, this dude is effectively talking to himself in a closet.
I wonder how the investigation into the allegations is going. At this point I imagine someone from the USATF was driving to Portland to do some interviews. Than they suddenly resolved to go hike the entire Pacific Crest Trail.

Twitter is not facebook. that's rich. They are both a platform for retired runners to start saying things to make them seem relevant. I wouldn't really care, but these athletes get people to blindly follow them because they are somewhat popular and likable. Not saying I don't think salazar gave Goucher fat burning pills or abusing the system to get Rupp an iv drip and other shady stuff, it just seems like he's calling someone out just so he can be heard.
I can see where an athlete such as Fam could hold on a bit to this subject. He raced a lot of AlSal's athletes over the years and let's assume he was above board, a place here and prize money there, adds up and as the whole Nike contract exposure has illuminated (which I am sure Adi has the same clauses) he lost bonus $$. Salazar is an untouchable, so really his best bet if he wants to fire across the bow is to write a month article in Running Times reliving the glory days, and how dirty the whole circuit is.
Just take anything he has to say with a grain of salt. Talk to anyone who has ever come in contact with Anthony Famiglietti at any point in his life. From high school on Long Island to current day. One word always comes up. He's a "KOOK"!!!

Says the guy talking about his comments online.
I really liked Fam back in the day, but he's no irrelevant now anything he says hardly matters.

Are you relevant?
Does what you say matter?
No and no.
Yet you are typing, just like Fam.
Buh-bye.
Fam accused all the Kenyan steeplers of doing drugs after he got stomped on at the olympics.

Anthony ... Don't you have better things to do? Oh wait given your career, you don't

Alberto … Don't you have better things to do? Oh wait you have to keep an eye for the drug testers; hide the goods.

It's not debatable. He is delusional. There are undeniable examples of it over the years and because of that not much Fam says holds much weight. He was a great runner once, that's also the truth.
Say what you want about the man. He was an Olympic finalist and had a pretty dang good career. Not a lot of Americans with that range, plus we won some US road titles as well.
3:35.8 (1500m)
3:55.7 (mile)
7:41 (3000m)
8:17 (steeplechase)
13:11 (5000m)
27:34 (10,000m)
Loved the Fam, but he's out of bounds here. If there's proof, let's have it. Otherwise STFU.
