A lot of notable American results. In my entirely subjective opinion, in descending order of interest:
1. Ajee Wilson wins Women's 800m in 1:59.72 (59.44, 60.29). Nothing wrong with her despite sub-par Euro results. She'll be a contender for a minor medal in Rio.
2. Ben True 3rd in Men's 1500m in 3:36.05 (54.26 final lap). We've never seen this kind of closing speed from True at the pro level, and it could serve him well in a tactical 5,000m final in Rio.
3. Kate Murphy wins High School Girls Dream 1500m in an Olympic Trials Qualifying 4:07.21. She's only a HS junior.
4. David Verburg with a 44.98 season's best for 3rd in the Men's 400m. Seems to be rounding into shape nicely for the Trials.
5. Numerous intersting non-winning performances in the Women's 800m:
-2 USA Molly Ludlow 1:59.93. Could she finally make the US team?
-3 USA Heather Kampf 2:00.55. May contend for a 1500m spot.
-6 USA Treniere Moser 2:01.94. One last hurrah in the 1500m?
-7 USA Morgan Uceny 2:02.00. Is she back?
