Anyone who doesn't think that Murphy is capable of at least 1:44-low hasn't been paying attention.

His chances at the 800 being 10 percent or his chances at the 1500?
You mentioned all half milers but then Manzano who's a miler.

Symmonds hasn't broken 1:47 this year, Cas has run poorly this year outside of that 600, and Solomon is having a rough year as well. Berian and Brazier are the only ones truly faster than him in his current shape. And Manzano isn't going to be top 3. I put his chances at 10 percent.

My bad, I meant Manzano's chances, citing the previous sentence.

still no clue dude. wrote:not until he cashes an actual check, dingus. I know this is probably news to you, but those oversize checks aren't actually real checks and...it wouldn't matter anyway, until he physically deposits in in the bank, he's NOT forgone his eligibility. Ostensibly, he could keep racing "pro," set his checks on his nightstand, and just not cash them for the next 5 months, then decide sometime in the fall whether or not he wants to mail all the checks back, or cash them and turn pro. completely acceptable, as long as he didn't sign an endorsement contract with shoe/clothing/other sponsor.
2/10 for your troll effort though, since i *did reply.
This check will be void if not cashed within 90 days.
Incorrect.

Great guy.
He was decked in Nike shoes, Nike Socks, Nike semi-tights, Nike singlet. All of the rack looking stuff.
I'm not sure why some kids are allowed to wear their college gear in the summer, and others aren't?
Back in the day, everyone did if they wanted. Schools considered it one long track season for school record purposes until after the last meet of summer.
What stuff looks "rack"?
I hope we can all agree on this: Whatever choice Murphy makes, unless he wins a gold medal in Rio, he will be criticized and ridiculed here for that choice. And furthermore, in the unlikely event that he does win that medal, we will be sure to cast suspicion on his rise to greatness.
