Ethio, are you able to translate and summarize the above link i posted above with Kenenisa's and Haile's speeches the other day at the protest?
Haile was basically said, the federation is full of people without any knowledge about athletics, at one point he was saying the technical director appointed because athletics was his hobby. And he want those people to resign and replaced by professionals to save the future of Ethiopian athletics. And he didn't understand why Kenenisa is left out of the team, and said if he was the selector kenenisa would be his number one choice.
The other thing he talked was about the Ethiopian athlete union. Their
president is Sileshi Sihine, and Haile accusing Sileshi becoming a part of the problem by receiving funding and his personal office from the athletics federation by going against most athlete that wants to rent their own office and fund their own expenses to become independent. It looks like Sileshi has never voiced or submitted any complaint to the federation, basically Haile was saying Sileshi is a part of the federation now and he wants to establish a new union that work for the athlete. On the same day they select 10 people including Haile, kenenisa and some previous Ethiopian coaches to facilitate for the establishment of the new union. On the other note Haile said this time the Ethiopian men team might not win any medal
In his speech Kenenisa said he is not interested anymore to run in Rio, even they call him back. He just doing this to encourage the other athletes and the young runners to stand up for themselves and not to get discouraged.
The above is a kind of summery
