The average pace on the tracker is nowhere near this pace though.

There is no excuse. YOU haters, are the losers in this sad story you have started.
And the children!

Wow, he's fat.
What the eff does the crew do to pass time in the RV while RY is Gallowalking? That must me the most boring waste of time imaginable. Do you think they are playing sudoku puzzles or something? Counting mile markers? What?

Reading letsrun like the rest of us.
I'm getting impatient now. I thought this guy laz was going to sort this mess out?

He's waiting for his new fanny pack to arrive.
He could walk a little less than 3 miles per hour for 19 hours and rest for 5 hours per day and get to Times Square in 17 days.
Since Robert has said he is one of the mentally strongest people he knows, this pace should not be a problem.

Figuring out where the Strava segments are.

He's not looking quite as fresh in the last couple of videos - more like he's actually working hard to achieve his new pace.

HAHAHAHA!!!
So that's what Prof Lieberman claims is perfect running form.

From vice.com article last year:
"Letsrun.com Law No. 1: as any thread grows in size, the likelihood of fat-shaming approaches one"
I think this thread started the "he's fat" on page 1 or 2, but that's the most predictable Letsrun law.

Yeah, for a supposedly super fast runner he is suspiciously carrying a lot of upper body fat and weight.

No seriously. Let's run readers can do other things in between wasting copious amounts of time here. I think the greatest sacrifice is not the act of transcontinental running itself. It is to sit in a sticky RV going 5-10MPH, looking at cornfields and rednecks while your buddy satisfies his strange narcissistic needs. The crew are the real champions in my book.
With daytime high temps in the low 90s the next few days along his route, he'll probably be doing his fast
running at night . . . better to not tax the RV radiator.

There's no chance that this fatty is capable of running even one 85-miler in a day.
I like his buddies necklace.

Don't think we have all been conned as that's not the case. Not by a long way.
What is good about some average marathons (3 hours or slower), and lots of lying, and defrauding using the "for the kids" scam?
I thought the same. It's difficult to be unbiased at this point but it struck me as a video being done for show. You don't look at your watch every 30 seconds when you are running comfortably. You do that when you are f*cked.
I'm withholding judgement at this point regarding cheating but I'll offer my opinion that I don't think this guy is right in the head. I don't know him well but I have spoken to him a couple of times during marathons. He is a little bit 'off' and can be pretty volatile.
If we assume his story about his childhood is correct, do you really expect him to be a well-adjusted adult? I think it's safe to say that the poor guy has issues and a need for validation. Bit of a compulsive exaggerator I fear.
