Even if this guy isn't cheating and there is some reasonable explanation for the OP being unable to find him (which is unlikely), I don't really get why a) he doesn't think he needs to prove that he's actually doing what he claims, and b) his supporters seem to think that anyone who expects proof is a "hater." Even if you're completely legit, you need to provide documentation and proof.
When Alan Webb decided to take a stab at the mile AR, he didn't just show up at his local track with a few buddies, bust off a 3:46 mile, and then tell everyone about his performance on Facebook with no substantive proof. If he'd done so, his time would not be accepted as the AR. This isn't because people are haters. It's because there's is a high standard of proof for a record-setting accomplishment.
When you decide that you want to publicly accomplish something noteworthy, it's on you to make sure that the whole thing is verifiable. Even if Rob has legitimately run every step of the way, he has certainly failed on this front.
