2. Why have they stopped since this thread started?
3. What do you now think about his pro cycling career?
4. What do you think about his marathon and half marathon pbs vanishing from his website?

He can run all he wants. But if the man wants to be acknowledged as the 'Fastest Ever to Cross America on Foot' he can expect to be scrutinized in some way or another. So far he hasn't shown much when it comes to data: GPS, cadence, HR, etc. It seems logical that documenting the data is a first priority in an attempt like this one.
The way he and his friends/supporters have reacted to the questions that have risen is laughable, really. Some degree of self-criticism is hard to be found. -

I have to add that this is really affecting Rob , mentally and physically. If you really want to see what he is truly made of them let him continue to run without any more abuse or slander. Give it a rest buddy. If he had nothing to hide, a thread on Letsrun.com wouldn't bother him in the least.
I haven't seen much bashing, but just a lot of calling out of glaring inconsistencies and fairly obvious embellishments or fabrications.
Robert may have some very fine qualities. But he also embellishes the truth, sometimes flat out lies, and is apparently riding in the RV for some of this trek across America. Finding out that he is really a swell guy doesn't change those facts. -

Can someone just ask these two simple questions:
1. Why did he use a picture of another guy for his pro cycling claims?
2. Why can't he just upload the GPS data.
Since the start of this thread, we've got less data, not more. They pulled all the tracking info off his website.
That alone, is not a good sign. -
He'll quit as soon as someone starts watching him. He may well pretend they were being 'aggressive' or something.

If I've missed anything please pipe up. From the above I'd draw the conclusion that performances have highly likely been exaggerated or misrecorded (I..e 7km duatlon split). However, there is still the possibility he Is actually doing this legit.

Don't worry Coach ... the current US 6-day record holder (606 miles) is making plans to join Rob next week for a couple of days. -
I really hope someone actually goes to run with him before he drops out, otherwise this story will be told very differently.
