What's more mind boggling to me is that there's a group of them. Is Rob so likeable that he convinced the others that it would be okay and be a good idea?
My guess is that he's run a good portion of it, all the 9,10min+ segments. But his downfall is his ego.
He claims to be doing it 'for the kids' but the reality is his behaviors point towards a person who craves attention. The fabricating of his initial marathon story, the buying of twitter followers, the stealing a photo of some other dude and claiming it's himself, the constant wikipedia editing.
His ego made him want to seek notoriety.
It's also funny how all these cheating runner types also make classic mistakes. Since they really aren't good runners, they all make the mistake of overstating their PR's, paces, etc. Hobby joggers don't notice because to them, a 5min or 6min mile all seem plausible. But the running nerds of letsrun know plausibility of paces down to the second.
So when the RV gets impatient and drives 25mi at near his documented marathon PR, we know it's BS.
Anyways, it's a fascinating psychological study.
His running career is over. No turning back now. More and more media coverage will be coming out. His fabricated wikipedia page will be on page 3 or 4 of Google behind all of the articles about his cheating and exposing him as a fraud.

That's probably the first thing a reporter would investigate. What evidence is there of abuse? There's far more evidence of narcissism or some other personality disorder, so I don't know why anyone would believe anything he's said to this point. -

He probably exaggerated, but his foster dad / mentor / teacher is a real person with a real name.
I wouldn't write off his running career. Parvenah and Dane and Viada are still going. He could just ignore us jealous haters and his worshipers will probably stay with him. -

I'm confused as last nights video of him running clearly shows him running in front of his support vehicle by a few feet. I thought his preferred method was to be 15 minutes behind the RV in the dark alone or the occasional magician act running along side the RV wherever you aren't lol

I've missed a lot from yesterday. Are legs bad because he tried to do two actual big days back to back once he was outed? Or is he doing short days since he was outed and just claiming his legs are bad so he can quit? -
Robert Young spends most of his time in his van. But that's not much worse than all the Internet whiners who spend all their time behind their computers. I doubt there will ever be any solid evidence of Young cheating, like a video of him jumping into the van and speeding off. People are simply too lazy to get out there and follow him with a bike and a video camera. That's all that's needed. One guy on a bike, and another on in a car.
Young will very soon cancel his "mission" and blame the Internet trolls so that he won't get caught red-handed. In a few months he'll be on his next cheating mission.
All that said, the OP, who actually got off his ass, deserves all the praise he can get. -

I have to add that this is really affecting Rob , mentally and physically. If you really want to see what he is truly made of them let him continue to run without any more abuse or slander. Run with him as repeatedly requested and post up evidence of your time with him. I think repeatedly bashing him is cowardly and to call his past childhood into question is a dreadful thing to do to someone who has suffered so much.

There's more than a little evidence that he has a history of embellishing or flat out lying. That coupled with a serious lack of evidence of what he's doing and reports from people WHO HAVE GONE OUT TO RUN WITH HIM.
How about you start answering the many questions that have been raised. So far you've not even started to answer anything. -

I thought he could switch off pain. He could hammer a nail through his hand without a problem apparently so what's the problem with doing some distance running? Why's he suffering?
