it wasnt his fault. the internet is horrible in some remote parts of the US. it will only allow you to upload to facebook or your own personal blog but definitely not Strava.

Not sure if this is for real or sarcastic...
Internet or not should be no issue. I don't use Strava, but every single run I do is on my Garmin and I regularly export the data to my own log template. Agree with the comment that pretty much every runner is able to easily and reliably document every run with precision. The notion that data collection is tricky and something that the team had difficulties with is just not believable.

Really? Think harder and consider where you are on the internet right now...
The crazy thing is that RY's followers actually believe this tripe.
There has been one excuse that has made me laugh. There was a suggestions that Rob occasionally left the watch in the RV and then soon remembered and went back for.
So my question is do you put your watch on your wrist before you hit the start button, or do you pick up your watch click start and then put it on your wrist.
Answer is nobody ever clicks start prior to putting a GPS watch on......
Another lie that makes no sense. At least this one was backed my Michael who could not remember one incident that this happened.

Yes, we are supposed to believe Rob is that special.
Even if you don't have internet, the data is still stored on the watches, or laptop for upload later. The watches provided by RY to the investigator were clear of data. I don't have those particular watches but I'd be really surprised if they don't hold enough data until internet became available or couldn't be stored to a laptop until internet was available...
Sarcasm much? wrote:

Didn't you watch their 10 minute HD Facebook video where they explained they didn't have internet in some remote areas?!?
Yes, they explained quite clearly that they didn't have good enough internet connectivity to upload the run data by uploading a 10 minute video and countless photos of the data already uploaded to TomTom

He looks like a con man.
Given where I am on the Internet (USA) I would imagine sarcasm is in short supply. Hence I'll take everything at face value.

Where is the famous UK tabloid media on this scandal? I wanted a big Daily Mail expose haha... I'm disappointed in the lack of coverage on both side of the pond

Disappointing indeed. Not like the Daily Heil to publish inspirational stories about abuse victims-done-good, but not character assassination on a cheating scumbag?

Thanks for reposting, I'd forgotten about his other career as an escort con man.

Just more weird stuff in what is the weird and wonderful world of Robert Young:

I really don't understand why people are still suspicious about this ultrarunner's glorious achievements. For example the explanations in this video were very convincing.
The only hint towards him maybe having skipped a step or two came from his poorly functioning cadenceometer, which of course only "measures" steps indirectly. Therefore its data can't be used against Mr. Young. On the other hand, there are pictures and witnesses and calculations and everything.
Therefore Mr. Young was fully exonerated.

Twat
Clearly his excuse on Facebook is true(insert sarcasm). He failed upload is runs due to the internet and then deleted old activities on the watch to make room for new ones.
Rob take a close look at your watch, it's a TomTom not a Garmin. you can't browse to those activities and delete to "make room" it just doesn't work like that. Your TomTom will sync everything the next time internet is around.
Maybe Rob Factory Reset his watch after each run....he seems to be well adapt at that process.
I notice Rob learnt from that and excuses since that one have been far less specific like "I made mistakes". "I will run a 6-day race to prove the earth is flat".

He changed his profile faceook pic on oct 4 and 235 people have ticked "like".
This guy could fall in shit and still smell of roses.
I KNEW that the Skins report would change nothing and that he would still have fans. They must all be retards
So many REAL heroes out there to admire - why the hell support this lying con man.
And who exactly will be funding this six day america thing? The fanboys i assume.
Why doesnt he just go away and disappear and get a JOB and support his family
