That's all the research I'm going to do on this race - it would have been nice to find a full results listing. I'm willing to say that Rob Young ran the thing and placed 3rd as stated, but I feel that this accomplishment was exaggerated as many of his appear to have been: he represented Great Britain on the non-elite age-group team which has no performance requirements or qualifications process (you simply send in an application and pay all of your own expenses including registration and travel), likely raced against a very small field (people are joking in the second forum link about how easy it is to become an age group champion at those races because of the small field sizes), and his time was more than 10% slower than the winning times for M35-45. The GB age-group triathlon page has a fun item specifically instructing age-group competitors that they cannot imply they were in the elite competition group when promoting themselves (see item 14:
