I will take my bruised ego out of here and back to the URC where hopefully someone will tell me what will help the healing process.
I already know it's tailwind.
The truth is the truth, its not negotiable.
No do stay. Keep on posting. Small fish in a small pond in there, with delusions of being a big fish. Stay in here and keep posting, you are most welcome, you will hear more truth about yourself
Yep, the UK is a small pond (especially after Brexit). The USA is The Big One when it comes to catching cheating runners like Rob Young. Stay here and you'll be entertained until September when Jaimie's report comes out.

I once dabbled a year in ultras and although as a runner I was never fast (sub 80HM & 5min mile) I come out in front of a supposedly glorified ultra. The other "competitors" were basically walking.

My a jogger amongst joggers is what?

Ha,ha
Only the ones who go for "World Records" do it for charity and write books about it.
All the normal happy ultrarunners just run.

That simply is not true. If admins think its fun, then some people are allowed to be abused in URC. There has been considerable trolling in there, so dont make out that group is squeaky clean as its not.
I'm with Gary and Lindley on this one, it works on their sites and it works on mine.

You didn't delete the bullying of some of the people who were challenging Robs position though. That was all left on there and it was appalling.

The pond ref was re the URC group not the uk. The likes of gary, james, lindley etc think they are important as they think they are big fish in there.
All three have whimpered off back to their URC pond as they cant stand the heat in here.
I'm a uk runner and have been hugely entertained by this thread. I have literally been crying with laughter.
This forum is tops for outing scammers like RY wheras URC mainly defends him, yet trolls people they dont like, whilst wanting to appear like saints who have never abused anyone
Say, a hare amongst deer, son? ;)

And he shouldn't use that video on his next job application once Jaimie sacks him from Skins.

This is what I don't get about this latest distraction, Gary says:
"I came over to address someone who was insulting me personally on a site they knew I didn't use. Someone who's a coward and won't address me under their real name, here or on the uk site. I stayed to address some questions but that's it."
Why not address him and the issues on his own site (same with Lindley) by saying something along the lines of "Over on LetsRun.com they've been saying...(fill in the blanks)...and I'd like to address those comments here...(fill in the blanks)...if the person saying them would like to address the issues here I'd be most happy to engage with him/her".
They both knew they were going to get roasted here, because, unlike their own websites, they don't have control over what's said, yet they still get all huffy when they can't get their own way here and wonder why they get called out as idiots.
I remember you defending him in the ultra running community group.
A female runner had brought up the fact he was pale before Laz showed up, and was now very burned, and you sneered at this woman and defended RY saying that was pathetic proof he cheated.
We can't add screen shots here or i'd find it and post you defending him. You did this quite a lot.
I can honestly say i have been way more offended by things i have read in this group you manage than anything i've read in here.
Worst is when people delude themselves into thinking their group is fair and just, when there is a strong undercurrant of very unpleasant goings on in ultra running community

Reminds me of the time I went on to a vegan web site to justify killing animals and eating the burnt flesh. My mates said I was an idiot and why would you bother cos you'll only get flamed and roasted. Dunno why.
Bit like coming on to LR and justifying and discussing ultra running I suppose.

We can add screen shots here. Plenty have been done earlier in this thread. Upload your screen shot to

Well done, with that post you've pretty well summed up the ultra scene, they're walking/hobby joggers.
And how hilarious is this this thread now? We now have a bunch of UK ultra types (some of whom hate LetsRun) arguing amongst themselves on, wait for it, LetsRun. Why?, because they're not allowed to on their own site (FMD one them is even an administrator on their site).
You couldn't make it up with these idiots, Andy, Kev, Gary, James, Lindley, etc, etc. But hey, keep it going boys, it's great entertainment and the other cheating/idiot thread is a bit quiet at the moment while we wait for a Philly Court update.
.
Hilarious !!!

Unfortunately let down by some primitive uneducated people with no respect for others. Or not even enough bravery to use their own name.
Unfortunately a lot of comments here are by people who do not understand ultra running. Otherwise there would not be all the hobby jogger type comments.
Goodnight

um ok. Welcome to 2016. Names don't matter here. Truth does however.

I've met several, can confirm -- especially in the UK
Rob seems to have erased his marathon PBs from his website/wikipedia. In this interesting video he claims he has done a 2:41.
https://www.facebook.com/marathonmanuk/videos/1018632184887706/
He doesn't know where he did that though. Maybe Arizona?
Also, he explains how Michael was sent out by Skins to accompany him and that Skins also rented out the RV for him. I would be pretty pissed if I was running a respectable company to have these bozos carrying my brand.

Forgot to add: He mentions the 2:41 around the 31:30min mark.
Just a random and yes very pointless question.
Is there a definition in the record books of what it means to complete a marathon each day for X days? Does the "marathon" have to be completed in 1 hit or under X hours? or is it just travelling 42.2km each day. Actually better make that 42.7km (GPS error and all that)
What I'm getting at here is say you are a keen runner and run 20km each day and then go into a fairly active job you could imagine maybe with not too much extra effort easily knocking off 42.2km each day. Just keep the GPS on all day and knock off a record!!!
Let's face it some ultra runners have a nap and a picnic at an aid station, it's not like that doesn't mean the total distance doesn't count.
do I have a point?? - No I don't.
