There isn't going to be a "smoking gun" for the believers, because Rob can attempt to explain away ANYTHING! You could see him on a bicycle and follow him for 20 miles with his watch on and tracking, and he would just say "oops I forgot to turn off the watch, just cross training mid transcon run".
Rob, if you're reading this, I know it must be hard to admit it with this group of people "depending" on you and really believing in you, but what's worse? Them believing in fraudulent attempts or you coming clean and saying "you know what, all of this chasing records got bigger than I could manage and I had to try to live up to the hype and did that by cheating, but I was wrong."?
