28 miles (miles 2-29) in 2:57:39 (6:21/mile pace) in the midst of a 32-mile run at 4000' elevation (granted, the route does drop 600'), in the midst of a 70-80 mile day, after 2 weeks of 70-80 mile days.
Oh, and this was the day (May 29), he played a pick-up game of football afterward.
Those 28 miles would be a PR effort (with taper before and recovery after) for a 2:45 marathoner. RY is not a 2:45 marathoner, and especially not after two weeks of 70-80 mile days.
Guy, just realized - Strava is showing "moving time" for all of this. Elapsed times are much longer...
So his numbers are grossly inflated here.
That said, the RV tracker data should be pretty good, since that is actually when/where he is.
But on Strava here, for example, if a run lasts 3 hours and started at 8pm, it's not 11pm when it's over...
