They're standing around the RV
I wish I could go back in time and try to explain to my childhood self that one day I would enjoy monitoring by computer an RV sitting in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Indianapolis.

Boots were on the ground. He's legitimately injured and definitely suffering now and at least for a couple of days. Bloke is clearly a tough guy. But he forgot that he's only been moving slow for about 10 days, not 20, and claimed 2+ weeks when he should have said 1+ week to explain why he slowed down.
2+weeks means he ran several 20mile stretches at 6:30/mi pace on a broken toe through rural Kansas. Oh right, Kansas ;)
I'm still on p 255. Has rojo flown in a HIPAA release form so the hospital boots can be uploaded to Strava?

they are not.

I guess the rest of this saga will play out however it plays out.

driving from st Louis to Indianapolis at 2 miles an hour.

Thanks Laz. it these kinds of claims that make the sport look bad.
Feel bad for Laz and don't blame him for high tailing it out of that cesspool of boredom

I suggest you look directly at them, put your
thumb to your nose and wave the other four fingers.
Markus did do a great job on this one. Markus also was surprised earlier this week that maybe lisa smith batchen didn't run a badwater quad for "charity" and 50 miles in 50 states in 62 days for "charity" with no gps tracking and no charity records.
Definitely good follow up on this one though by Markus.

Just remember they're likely reading this at some point, don't get seen!
LOL!

Question for Skins...
Will we still be able to track Rob on his flight back to the UK? Thanks in advance!
I have a few questions too:
Your compression cloths do come in white, and I admit the usual black stuff has some colours and some reflective stripes - but:
(1) why did you create a dangerous set of pure black baggy compression wear specifically for Rob?
(2) Do you feel he gets more recovery from the baggy compression cloths? (3) Why did you remove all markings and reflective materials for Rob?
(4) Why would you just not allow him to have your regular gear, and especially the white stuff, so he could wear that at night?
(5) Even your black tights are normally 360 degrees of reflective - why would you not allow Rob to have this?
I think as a sponsor you really should allow him to just wear your regular cloths including white cloths and the ones that have reflective gear. By forcing him to wear black baggy non-reflective clothing at night you are putting his very life at risk, Shame on you.
So good
It's time to call the cops and report suspicious activity around an RV in the Wal-mart parking lot. Or call Wal-mart. Let's make something happen, folks.
After football but before walmart, pool time, casino time, the grand canyon, farm visits and frisbee.
Just saw this on facebook that was posted yesterday:
"Day 34 run and done. Rob is forcing the miles out on very sore and tired legs. Company is helping especially Jimmie and Deborah Barnes who are helping with blisters, among other things. 61 miles run and still on target."
So 2000 miles into this thing and he just now starts getting blisters? Any mention of blisters on the blog or facebook prior to this? I don't recall any.
Stands out because coachkev raved on his blog about the 373 mile run that Rob had run in the rain for 300 miles with wet shoes and had "zero blisters." Amazing how he can pull that off! No red flags? He must have teflon feet or something.
(5) It would be too easy to see Rob at night. We didn't want that. Makes it a lot harder to cheat.

I actually LOL'd and then sighed. I'm signing off for a while, too close to home.
Hi, joe from skins here. Yes, you will be able to track rob at his normal running pace in an airplane when it is for the children, 590 miles per hour.
Quick observation.
The GPS file before the RV got stuck started at 5:20am, ran for 2:50 and ended at 9:10am at the location of the RV.
The next file is Rob leaving the RV at 7:31. The two gps files have overlap by about 1:40.
So, two watches of course, the crew accidentally left the first one running when the van got stuck and Rob took the other when he left. The crew saw it just before they got back on the road and shut it off. My guess it was on the dash and forgotten about. Not proof at all, but maybe we can find some other slipups that would help the case.
