Yeah, finally boots on the ground!
You get a statue, next to Asher's.
Where are these Brits? Maybe at the cemetery?

Did you have to go to the rest room to stop that throbbing thing in your pants after you wrote all this.
Exactly.
They'll never get all that duct tape off the back of the RV.

So what was the total tally of actual miles ran, AKA since the geezers showed up?
Team Geezer picked up with them after they had crossed into IL (Monday morning, I think). RY website has timestamp of 6:11am Sunday for their crossing into IL at Alton. RY covered about 233 miles from Alton until the break stop at the Admiral Petroleum on E. Washington in Indy yesterday afternoon. I calculate that as about 54 mi/day. Laz said he witnessed two 60 mile days. RY could only must about 40 miles the day after the first one and he recovered to do 60 again yesterday, but we all know how that ended.
Is this where it all ends? A Wal-mart on the east side of Indy, one of the most depressing places on earth?
Wow, i left yesterday and woke up with 35 pages to read. I'm so glad i didn't take the RV to the end! I would have missed some excellent reports from laz, and fake laz (fake laz may be my favorite poster now), the hospital trip, applebees, fireworks, and finally the conclusion of the run itself.
I doubt Rob will continue. They are now sitting in the RV composing the story of Rob's heroism, done in only by a broken bone, which they will post and the fans will eat up.
It's now obvious that Rob did not cheat a few miles per day for the first half. I'd bet half of his mileage was fake.

Hats off to Markus for noticing that this wasn't right weeks ago. Hats off to Asher for enduring the ridicule from team Rob when all he wanted to do was run with him til he realized it was a fraud. Hats off to laz, ray, and company. You defended the integrity of your events in the most honorable way.

Good job Markus, Asher and the Geezers.

I'll believe it when I see it. Or maybe not.

I don't believe for a second that he ran 35-40 miles per day for longer periods. I'd bet he ran about a half marathon every day.

We are going to run/walk with him. Every. Step. There will be no cheating on our watch.
Go A.D.!
If he's still moving tomorrow night, I will run along with him. Just a friendly little run/walk. Maybe 10 miles or so, I'll have to get back to my car or I would go further. Will he be in Richmond In. by then?
He has to be the first transcon person to enter the second half of the attempt heavy and out of shape....

Given how rapidly he transitioned from fresh to toast once Laz and company showed up, yeah, I have to agree. What monumental arrogance.

Bring a fanny pack, because that will take about 5 hours.

Exactly. If Robert would have run 40 miles per day he would have known who to handle his feet and how to pace himself. He just did enough running for the videos and when somebody showed up or when he went through some towns.
His collapse of mileage while somebody was watching was expected. That's why we all chiped in to get somebody out there to watch Robert.

And the first person who entered the second half without doing the first half. :-))LOL

Better bring a lawn chair.
