Hey guys i would like to clear a few things up 1.) The person above posting under my name, is not me! 2.) yes i want to attempt to break RY LCR record (should it actually exist) 3.) yes the number says 500 but that in reality is just a number and a target, i know how i work and if i have something big to aim for i have a better chance at pushing it. 4.) my attempt will be documented in many ways including video and live streaming to prove it happens. and i welcome one and all to come and run with me at any point un announced.... as for all this stuff on RY i dont know if its true or not. alot of the evidence would show cheating but the truth always comes out in the end.

35.7 miles!
That's great, Rob! Keep it up!

My mistake then. But are you really 24 years old?

I'm actually impressed that he is at over 60 miles since last night. I'd like to know what his pace has been though. He is clearly putting in longer days now...
Of course not - that would involve these depressed LRC millennials mustering up the strength to get out of the house.
Did you not read the Redit link with Strava and pics?
he's still on track for record and has holes in his shoes:
Tom Crockford is going to attempt 500 miles w/o
sleeping this fall:

The main points to take away is that Rob collapsed on his face yesterday on the side of the road for who knows how long and feel asleep with blood running down his face. Horrible mileage.
Today, the Geezers are aiding the enemy by cutting his shoes for him to relieve some pressure and it was revealed Rob is wearing COTTON socks on a trans con run. The Geezers may have done other stuff we don't know about but they may actually get some decent mileage in today. Rob looks beat up, though.
I can't wait for tomorrow, when we find out he's doing this in Nike Cross Trainers and Adidas Stan Smiths.

Serious question, can't someone 'walk' 50 miles a day?
I could probably walk a marathon in under 7 hours pretty easily. So I could walk 50 miles in around 14 hours. That leaves 8 hours for sleeping too. Are his 40 mile days just moreso rest?
Exactly bro! Some fossil next to me at work is an ultra-geezer. I'm like, "I am so impressed that you walked for the better part of a day, on a full nights sleep with two one hour meal breaks, SAID NO ONE EVER!" LOL!
While we're asking, who can't jog a sub 4 mile?
I mean, a half decent high school kid can run 100M in under 11 seconds. 14 seconds per 100 is like 30% slower. Who can't hold a 70% effort for a couple minutes? A old woman, maybe? Man, there are youtube videos of 300 pound guys running 13s for the 100. LOL!
So you just run 14 second 100s, which is losing-to-an-old-fat-slob slow, LOL. It's easy peasy. You just do 16 of those and that's a 3:44. Plus you get a flying start on 15 of them so it's REALLY easy. A lot of the energy in the first one is just getting up to speed - then you're just coasting.
If you need 3:59 to waddle a mile didn't you moreso take a rest in the middle for like 15 seconds? LOL!!!
I could probably jog a mile in 3:15 pretty easily. Under 3 if I didn't do the take-a-15-second-rest thing.

Why is Reddit able to send boots on the ground?
Why aren't we doing the legwork? Is our investigation over?
OVER? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is!
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
And it ain't over now. Cause when the goin' gets tough... the tough get goin'!
Who's with me? Let's go! What the f*** happened to the LetsRun I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh?
Ooh, we're afraid to go with you, we might get in sued. Well just kiss my ass from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Rob, he's a dead man! Dustin and Kev and Andy, dead!
Now get that footage, make that FOIA request and write that damn article!
i am now 27, i just havent updated my info i dont use it all as much as i shold... im not trying to be a super hero or a running great. i just want to challenge myself and see what i can do. i have nothing to hide and nothing to shy away from i love running, i want to push my self simple as that :)

Rob's FB says 61 miles done today. Which is correct? With 690 miles to go from where he is, I make that 57.5 miles per day left, which doesn't seem to have gone up from previous required mileage.
it's a long way to Times Sq. wrote:

A little deceptive given he's been taking his break during the 1:00-6:00pm range. They're moving again so the question will be how far can he get in the next five hours. He seemed to go longer into the day before his break, so not a good sign. Taking longer to get the requisite miles can become a spiral.
I think Rob defines the "day" from when he starts the previous evening. Seems like he is back in a groove. #stillinthegame

Hi Tom,
I've reported all the posts I've found linking to you. Hopefully the moderators will delete them. I apologize for being one of those mistaking you for the idiot above.
Good luck with all your challenges!!!

Hi Tom,
People are wondering already what continuous run means?
No walking, sleeping, stopping, peeing......???
Shouldn't you just enter a real 6 day race?
That what real runners do.

Somewhere between 179 and 206 there was an image link to a screen shot of a conversation with open tracker. OT says the early ones were taken down because the large file size was slowing the RY website, esp on mobile devices. Looks legit, so OT has all original kml files if rojo wants to ask them for a copy.
Did you really say Germany bombed Pearl Harbor?
And the Reddit girl is cute.
