Robert Young fakes run across America

I find it so strange when people do this, especially in the internet age. It's just so awkward to be around them when they are constantly lying. I met a guy through work a couple of years ago who claimed he ran 8:50 in the steeple, 24:30 in xc. He looked fast enough that I believed him at first.
There are still those that don't do this sort of thing. I met a guy at our kid's preschool several years ago that wanted to run sometime. We did a couple of weeks of workouts together and had a good time, just getting miles and shooting the breeze. I went to his place for a long run one Saturday and while heading to his bathroom, I noticed a photo on the hall wall of him winning a race. Behind him was a top runner I recognized. So I asked him about it and he told the story of winning AAU National CC back a few years before. If I hadn't asked, he would likely never have mentioned it. -

Stings doesn't it. You know it does. Deep down inside you know your best days (like breaking an hour for a 10K) are far behind you. All you have left now is to pull on that fannypack, strap on that bandana and go out in the woods and do what most people call a hike, and call it a "ultra-marathon."
You go for it, oh walker of the woods. You go!
LRC is definitely coming away from this thread looking like a bunch of ugly weirdos to a lot of outsiders, new first time visitors and major media outlets. The "fast runner"'s homophobic anti-ultrarunner hate post some pages back was two days after the Orlando nightclub shooting.
"LetsRun.com is a community of the most amazing group of people united by their love of running. "
LRC is not making itself look like an amazing group of people here and there is a stronger thread of hate on here than there is love.
^^^^^^
This
Just looks like a group full of hate, spite and twisted individuals. As I commented before, some of the comments are disgusting in here. -

RY has quietly advanced nearly 60 miles since resuming last night. Problem is that he is in the heart of Indy right now. Can he push on for a big day to get clear of downtown before rush hour or perhaps he can get a sweet deal at the Marriott or Conrad for a rest break.
Laz and Ray are coaching and assisting him. -
I'm more amazed by the idiots that believed he was running 70 miles a day with 50 of them at 5:30-6:00 pace than the guy making the claims.

I think Rob is someone who may actually be a lot like Forrest Gump and I don't just mean with all of this 'running'.
Not to mention, Forrest got to bump uglies with Jenny. Imagine RY and Paula R. bumping uglies in his RV. It's a similar fantasy. -
Most legit runners are pretty humble. It's the posers that need to tell everyone about every frickkin run.

With drugs? Aren't they supposed to be neutral and not interfering with the enemy? -

Thanks bro! I'm honored that you remember me! -
He's approaching downtown Indy.

Which major media outlets think this?
Links or it never happened.

It seems like Ray fixing his shoes made him move 20 extra miles today. -

Divided by 10 which is the ratio of handles to real people. -

BRB.... Going to cut holes in all my shoes. -
Does anyone know who is in the geezer's posse other than Laz and Ray K?

Ever heard of Rossi or that Gia chick? Larry Macon? Shall I go on.
It's okay to write a bolg, but don't just act like you researched the whole thing when you didn't. You just took information from posters on LRC and RW (and other sources) and claimed it as yours. No big deal.
You are full of crap. Accusing me of plagiarizing is kind of a big deal.
I had information on Gia before there was ever a thread. And I posted my opinion on her, and my own analysis proving that she was outed for registering with someone else's time - not just for giving her bib away. Gia got the attention she did as a result of my blog post. That was what really got attention to the blog before the RW article.
Larry and Parvaneh were part of the same thread - like I said there is plenty of information in those articles that in no way came from here.
I posted OPINION on Rossi, didn't lift from here. There are plenty of other articles. If I use anything from letsrun or anywhere else, I say so.

many others that were archived..never talked about publicly prior to my writing about them. -
Well I started reading this thread early as part of the LR mob. Of course RY is a cheat, but I am so ashamed of this thread I hope he finishes, gets the record and accolades, just to stick it to the ineffectual LR hater community.

You are doing great work doubler, keep it up. I enjoy reading your site.

Quiet! All of you! They're approaching the tyrannosaur paddock.......errr, downtown Indianapolis.
