Hey guys,
Just thought I should let you know, I'm no longer spending my time in the RV massaging Rob's thighs and hunting on Tinder. Me and Laz are getting it on freaky style in the back.

Where is team1.kml? The 12-minute GPS check-in containing every checking dating back to the start? It disappeared from the live map Friday afternoon when this thread blew up.
What would his GPA data - from his current watch show? Would it disprove or prove his claim?
Or does he need the better watch?
I'm tempted to offer a huge cash reward for the GPS stuff to be posted tmw. He can't claim he doesn't have internet access as he'll be in Indy.

Yeah, we've heard that for a week now. He still hasn't produced much of value though. But his mission is only to 24/7 keep Robert from riding in the van. If he can do that he deserves all the praise he can get.

I like how much flak Laz is getting from the Lets Run crowd- when it was he that went to the trouble of driving out there to observe and record.
Laz is very smart- smarter than most of you. After organizing and running Barkley, this will be a piece of cake for him.
Have a little faith. He's got it covered.
The biggest value he can bring to this exercise is to provide his opinion on Rob's caliber as a distance runner. Since he's seen it all and done it all, he can hopefully tell when a guy is a pretender.
I doubt Rob and team will slip up while Laz is there, and he cannot prove he cheated until the halfway mark. They will behave until he leaves.
We need GPS data along with HR and cadence stats. We will triangulate that data with their journal entries and the existing GPS data (presumably from the RV). We know he doesn't have full video coverage, so forget that.

Rojo, if you're going to offer him big money it has to be for him to release the data from when and before this thread started as that's where all the conjecture lies (lies pun intended).
Also, and most importantly, it has to be for donating to one of his charities, he can't refuse then.

Sure, just like you offered cash for those who wanted to get out on the road and track him? And then just ran away when somebody turned up.
You're a liar and a joke.

If he posts his TomTom data it should contain cadence and heart rate that would show if he (or at least someone) was running in the early days. That's my understanding although I don't own the watches he was using.
If the data shows that the watches were moving, but that no steps were being taken, then we know they were just going for a ride in the RV. I'm guessing that's why he only shows us screenshots of the GPS data instead of syncing his account to Strava.
Our most effective route now is to keep on demanding immediate publication of full data for the entire run. They'd rather not address that, so instead they talk about clothes, the videos, etc. Those are sideshows. The TomTom data is what we need.

We've got boots on the ground to see if he's really running. Right now he is. We don't need a reward. We need a tech person to show up and facilitate posting the existing data to strava... The tomtom data is reportedly already uploaded... Just publish it! If you want to throw some money at it, send a techie to the road show today.

Rojo - you should really consider offering some additional prize for proof of other claims. They should provide the team phone record(s) that proves he phoned in that night from the strangers phone. That stranger should also be contacted to confirm his alibi.
Proof of him being a pro triathlete and his 1:08 PB would also be huge.

His watch data will show two things:
1. The location of his runs. This will show whether his runs are linked together sequentially, or of there are large distances between when he stops one run and starts another.
2. The cadence data. This will show whether is he is running/walking or sitting in an RV.
Anything posted without both of these elements is worthless (the screenshots he posted which just distance and time don't really tell us anything.) If you're really going to put money on the line, be very specific about what you want.
link to the TomTom data please?

His TomTom watches would automatically log the cadence so you would see those.
There is a little uncertainty as to which of two models he has. One would need a heart rate strap to record his HR, the other has it built into the watch, so it is possible that there would be no heart rate data recorded in his earlier data. These would be all there on his MySports page (where he needs to upload his watch to view the data).
Someone with him (Laz) could export this with a press of one button to Strava. It is not difficult.

A team of two--one camera person to record the whole exchange and then thumb through tomtom data on camera. Maybe even go for the specific night in Lebo since we have other data points there...
Show him the dollars. wrote:

And if he does refuse it proves he cheated and further loss of credibility for him as the children charities miss out on dollars.
And if he does release the data it'll prove he cheated.
He's toast either way if you put up the big dollars.

They just did a 45 minute facetime with runnersworld. Having internet access has never been the problem.
But yes, if he goes through Indy, plenty of free internet. If he is smart, however, he will not make a beeline through the middle of Indy because that would be a traffic and logistical nightmare.
And providing him a better watch now MEANS NOTHING. At all.
As much crap as letsrun gives ultralist people, at least the ultralist people get it.

Unlikely. The heart rate and cadence data would certainly have been turned off to save battery. That's the first you do when you want to minimize recharging.
He's already stated that sometimes he forgets to hit the start button on his watch.

I thought the rob team claimed it was uploaded. I could be mistaken. One tomtom user here described how tomtom works. I imagined it to be like Garmin connect but I don't have forehand knowledge. Didn't mean to mislead, hard To keep track of all the claims here in this thread. I certainly don't have the data.
Summary: I don't know if the
Tomtom data is online.
