The Oregon singlets are hideous. What ever happened to the simple singlet with just Oregon across the chest. At some point there can be too much on a singlet.

Pulse rate 101, tight.
Camera angles are rough but 1600m was something like 4:48? Shaun Thompson of Duke really strings it out right away with a big push, Ches in 3rd Futsum not far behind
Spotted Ches fidgeting with his jersey again.

The ole' Ches fidget. Thompson's "push" lap was a 66, so getting somewhere. Cut to wonderful commercial break.
Commentary sucks more than their singlets. How can they have decent commentary on the tour with 20 days of 4 hour races but can't talk through 20 min (commercials) of a 10k?
It's Larry Rawson commentating at Historic Hayward Field. What do you expect?
Thompson still leads by a meter over the rest of the field strung behind but not too far. @rojo, Rudy Wrinkler gets some nice TV time in the interim.
No shout out yet for Jonathan Green of G-town; 5th at NCAA XC, interested to see how he rips it in this one.
Campbell's Lawrence Kipkoech (10th last yr) is sitting in 2nd and looks pretty comfortable. Ches in 3rd, Futsum in 6th strung out but clipping each other's heels.

It is truly amazing this guy still has a job.

Shaun Thompson looks like Ryan Reynolds. Yes?
What the hell is up with Dwight and Larry tonight? I've been watching with baseball in the background and haven't been listening that closely but it seems like every time I listen Dwight is correcting Larry about some sort of mixed up stat.
1) Don't mess up the stats
2) I wouldn't correct my partner that much but it's tough.

Remember that one about how ever many cans of beer traveling through the body in a certain amount of time? Something to do with blood and the heart or something.
Ches lets himself get passed by 3 or 4 people but it's all still packed. Campbell's two guys move up to front of pack 1-2
Another great story from Lawson about the "Freshman" Cheserek.
So Larry Rawsom just told a lie on national tv. Cheserek was a junior 10,000 champ in Kenya before he came over her. He'd was VERY accomplished as an ahtlete over there. VERY.
The idea that the boarding school had no idea is one I don't believe. BUt that's not really important. The fact is he was a star in Kenya.
Wow, everything bunched up again. Jon Green in the front now but basically everyone is still in it now, I think only 3 aren't in this pack.
