With a surprise 3rd in the 10k and now a surprise 2nd the the Steeple are the Hogs in the mix for the championship now?
100m
Lawson 10.22
Coleman 10.23
Givans 10.25
Burrell 10.26
Teeters 10.26
Mitchell (#1 seed 9.96 in prelims) from Lsu had a terrible start and looks injured. Idn if he even finished, he was completely out of the camera view. Blanket finish for everyone else, I had no idea who won until they showed the results on the screen.
Can the LSU guy be DQ'd from later events for not giving honest effort? Or was something actually wrong with him?
This is ESPN's like F-team. Just be thankful they make it through the broadcast without someone whipping their dong out on national TV.

I told you guys, they didn't notice or mention that Blake got injured in the 4x100. Boy I wonder what happened to Blake??
Arkansas will be hurt by Clive Pullen not making the final in the triple jump. He was ranked #1 coming in.
It was quite clear that Mitchell-Blake pulled up lame at the end of the 4x100. He is legitimately injured. You could see him limping in the 100m
800 is coming up. I think people are giving Brazier Way to much credit. I'm not saying he can't win but I don't think he will. Track is weird as everyone is obsessed with the next best thing and potential.
McBride has spanked him repeatedly this year. McBride has a better pb. He's more experienced. McBride should win.

I admittedly don't know too much about what the rest of the days look like but they're looking good right now. Current Men's team scores after 100m:
Arkansas 26
Tx A&M 16
Georgia 13
So has the color commentator said the obvious- LSU's titles chances are over with the pullup of Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake? Or do we have to figure that out ourselves?

don't speak so soon. LSU just got 2nd and 3rd in the 400m final

It was mentioned, yes
400m
Hall 44.82
Dunkley 45.06
Cherry 45.11
Chambers 45.27
note: Arman Hall seems like the nicest guy based on that post-race interview
HALL'S BACK BABY
wait, I swear I've heard this one before...

Agreed that Brazier won't win. Most of the hype surrounding him starts with you though. Not complaining, just saying.

The camera angles are the worse I've ever seen. The keep zooming in on the runners and you can't tell where the other people are.
Either that or showing them running straight into the camera which is even worse.

Add another 25.8 miles onto the distance in question

Agreed, experience/McBride ftw. I think that semi probably took a bite out of brazier too.
