T'birds XC nails the best and only solution in the comments: the 7 others walk off the track after the gun goes up.
Sour grapes, Semenya is not cheating, she was born the way she was, Semenya's condition she was born with has positives and negatives for her, the disadvantage she was probably teased and ridiculed her whole life, the advantage she runs faster than most girls, so she gets a few extra trophies, medals etc.
My guess is she probably wishes she was born normal, even if it meant she would have to work harder to win races.
Add Semenya is # 13 on the All time list and the World Record Holder Jarmila Kratochvilova (1:53.28) by looking at her probably has the same condition as Semenya, so 11 girls without being born with the condition have run faster (Olizarenko 1:53.43 isabout 2 seconds faster which is a lot), so work hark like those 11 and try to beat her.
Also Phoebe Wright runs 1:58.22 in 2010 at age 21, now at age 27 she needs to figure out why she has gone years without going under 2, someone who run 1:58.22 at age 21 should be running 1:56-1:57 and 1:58-1:59 on a bad day unless they are slacking off so she needs to stop complaining and get to training or Wright will be watching the Olympics from TV.
Not cool to make fun of people born with a condition, be it what Semenya has or cerebral palsy or being deformed.
Phoebe wasn't necessarily making fun of Semenya here, I believe she made basically the same tweet about Dibaba last year when Dibaba was bouncing around the place and all the other girls were lying on the ground.
Why she ran 1:58 and why she's now running 2:0x can be a number of reasons, and it isn't your place to go and tell her how to approach her races and training, it's D Mackey's.
Actually, it could be 12 girls, or 11 girls, or 10. To make assumptions about someone having internal testes based on their external image is not only pretty uncalled for, but a radical assumption as well. It is an extreme minority with this condition not limited to girls that appear more manly than other girls.
There is, however, some pretty strong circumstantial evidence (of which there is none about your claim of Kratochvilova being intersex) that of those 12 women a very high percentage, if not all, were doped in some way.
Also, just because someone had a hard childhood doesn't qualify them for success. Everyone loves an underdog who overcame the odds and grinded their way to the top, but that doesn't mean they should be allowed to take the success of others who, despite your claims about Wright's training mentality, are working just as hard and have had their own battles to overcome.
If a male has a hard life and is bullied for having female tendencies be allowed to compete against women?
You are right, I was mostly upset at what I perceived as her making fun of a person who was born with something probably unwanted by even her.

No, Kratochvilova was on masculinizing drugs

Phoebe seems to be a little too manly to me. I find it odd that she would be the one to be so critical.
Listen, Women 800m runners have been spoiled and soft the past 10-15 years, ever since Quirot and Mutola retired and Jelimo disappeared.
These girls were making a living running 1:59, content to run 58-61 splits.
The come the Russians, and now along comes Semenya and everyone wants to make her out to be a man, yet all she is doing is running times that used to be run over a decade ago and the girls are spent.
Step up your training Phoebe. The W800m should be closer to 1:55 EVERY SINGLE RACE. I hope this changes forever, because the W800 has been SOFT.
This is true. Women's 800m is really weak right now.
It's only softer because of drug testing.
Just because Semenya was born closer to being a man does not make it ok to compete as a woman. This kind of crap makes women's track a farce.

They're all bowing down to him?
Just to continue on the victim-mentality bandwagon that these white girls perpetuate -
Look at what a loser Lynsey Sharp is.. maybe Andy Vernon was right.
She flats out says "there's two different races" insinuating that Semenya and the other girl are cheating because the race was won in 1:56.92.
She then says in the same damn article, I guess all I can hope for is the British Record of 1:56.2!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a dunce!
Turns out "women's" sports was founded on a bad assumption. But this issue has been there for decades, only with the advent of PC thinking has it resurfaced in a way that we can't avoid.
she isn't being critical, she's saying that everyone gets very tired chasing her and it's funny to see everyone wiped out.

"I run Profesh"
Uh, OK.
Sorry women, but this is payback for men's running being 10x more competitive and DEEP compared to women's running. Gone are the days when any random height/weight proportionate woman can train moderately and clean up at any distance. I honestly remember my high-school praising this one girls 2:19 meanwhile a bunch of is guys were dropping 1:55s and losing.

Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
